Really great.
I don’t think this is nostalgia speaking, but I think this is a really great game. It’s got a charming art style and fast gameplay. A few more levels and some new cheaper characters would be make it even better. Unfortunately, the game is no longer available on the App Store, which is a massive shame as I don’t think the sequel lives up to the original.

Such A Throwback
I remember when I was little and I played this game, which I loved, but could never get past the forest level. When I came back to revisit it, I still loved my it and it was such a fun time, but it has a few little weird looking things that are out of place, but nothing is perfect, so yeah, about a 4/5 for me.

I love this game.
I LOVE THIS GAME. I used to play it when I was way younger, and I recently saw that they fixed the iOS 13 scale issue, so I thought, “why not play it for the laughs?”, and it was as good as I remembered. If you’re looking for a classic side-scrolling mobile game, you’ve come to the right place.
Awesome game
I started playing this 7 years ago but stopped playing for quite some time, but I just started playing again a month ago and beat gamer mode, and close to malign put all characters - Great game.

I love this game to death and im currently trying to beat the game. It is very addicting and fun, and its not pay to win. Gamer mode is very difficult though, and after a while if it takes too long to beat the level it will mess up

Fantastic
This is probably the most fun you will have with your phone till they invent terraria / god king of space. It starts out easy but some of the latter levels will grind u into the dirt so hard your grand children will be mud based life forms.
Decent app with recommendations
One suggestion to improve the app would be a setting that you can enable so you hit the ground and its solid because when I'm looking at the health bar I occasionally will crash into the ground, other than that it's a great app

Great graphics, fantastic enemy, character and level design, awesome boss battles. This is really some console type stuff.
If I could make any changes they would be to have a separate button for the special attack, I often use them unintentionally by double tapping. Also, would be cool if when using the 360 controls, you could lock the button with a single press and unlock again with another press, instead of having to hold it down to keep the character facing one direction.
Last, I bought the IAP for the permanent dog pet, but it seems I have to turn him on before each level, can it be made always on by default, so I only have to turn him off if I didn't want him for some reason?

OG Kongregate Fans Will Love This
I first found out about this game by playing it on Kongregate, (a flash game website.) On the main menu there was an announcement that the game was now on mobile! I immediately got the game for the small price of $0.99 and started to play after it downloaded. The game is casual enough to be able to mess around in, and has awesome controls to let you take the game more serious than Jesus' passion, death, and that time where he flipped all those tables.

Great game
I came a cross this the first time a year ago, and deleted it due to storage problems. Just yesterday, I came across it again, and I am as addicted to it as I was last time.
Definitely deserves 5 stars!!!
Amazing game! Diverse levels with increasing difficulty. Every boss is unique and awesome. No in game purchases necessary!! All of the upgrades and characters can be easily earned through in game play. Smooth game play, simple controls, challenging yet doable levels, interesting and fun until the very end!!

Best dollar spent.
Along with Maximus, Toon Shooters is the best one dollar game I have ever gotten. Everything is so action-packed and will keep your eyes on the screen. There is a ton of unlockables to look forward too as well. Overall, toon Shooters is very "full" for just a buck. Its a must-have and its very cute and cool as well. Don't forget to check out Maximus (by the same developer) too!

Won't work for me
I played this game on computer and I know it's very fun but when I try to play this on my iPad mini it won't work. From reading the reviews it seems like I'm the only one with this problem. I would really like to play this but I can open the app then it gets to the loading screen then after a few seconds it crashes. Please fix this! I would love to be able to experience this on my iPad mini!

Too over powered
I think this is a great, fun game, it's just some turrets on some levels are over powered and need to be nerfed, like the red turrets in the bio lab level that do like 25 damage, so then I will die in 4 hits from a boss. But this is a great game.
Great scroll shooter
If you are looking for something close to Einhander shooter on PS1 - look no further. This is a somewhat simplified and cartoonish version, but it's very smooth, fast paced and skill dependent. Great job dev-s!
Great game resets after close
Gah I hate when I do that. Close the app or go to another app or get a call and it doesn't save my progress. Have to start all over again. Fix that and this game is five stars easy
