I got on here cause I wanted to learn German because there are some books that I really like that have beautiful covers and was thinking I’d be able to learn the language and then be able to read the books and use it while traveling. I like the idea in the concept of the app, but every time I tried to do the tutor thing about halfway through the lesson it would just say the tutor is thinking and then it would shut the whole app down essentially and no matter what I tried I couldn’t get past the first lesson because it kept locking down midway through. It was very frustrating.

Glitchy
It keeps getting errors and shutting down. The tutor has been using incorrect words as I do know some German already.
Tried it couldn’t get it to work reliably
Tried it it continued to not work every time I would load it, it said something like your lesson and media could not be loaded. Check your connection. I even reached out to Support through email nothing so I canceled before the three day. Free trial ended actually I canceled the next day so oh well.

Like the name suggests, it's kind of a stinker
I took German for 4 years and have just fallen out of practice and wanted to find a program to help me get back to learning again. I found this app on social media and thought I'd give it a chance. They try to collect all of this information about what you want and what your experience level is before you ever even see a lesson plan, but even after spending 5 minutes answering questions, it still wanted to start me with lessons on how to say "Hello." The conversation with the AI was not any better. They try to give you a choice of model, and then the whole thing starts out like you are making a video call to an actual person, but you are greeted with something with a voice and visuals out of the uncanny valley. Then on top of that, the AI spoke in English, not German, and tried to create this fantasy about us "being in the Alps" and asked how my trip was. At this point I was too distracted with the conflicting UI experience and everything else to even entertain an attempt to immerse myself in this scenario and I couldn't continue the conversation and deleted the app. There just seems to be no real plan for customizing the lessons or experience for someone using the app who isn't an absolute beginner, and worse it just feels soulless. Not a good product.

Unable to Start
I downloaded the app, created an account and was looking forward to trying a new language. However, none of the AI tutors would connect. Moreover, there is no help feature or way to figure out what is going on. Probably deleting the app and won’t try again.
