Hi, like many other AR apps this app requires both some light and some visible details in your environment in order to work. If it was very dark I would suggest switching on some light or trying the app in daytime, and possibly in a different environment where there are more visible details, for the camera to learn where in space it is. It should not take more than about 5 seconds before a magic wand pops up, and then the app is ready. In your case: if it's very dark or if there are no visible details in your environment for the camera to pick up, I would suggest using Tooth Fairy Camera (the non pro version of the app instead) - that app can function even in complete darkness, and doesn't need any visual details in your environment to function.
