Petit jeu sympa, parfois peu difficile, mais peut être bon apprentissage; il manque l’affiche des termes de navigation, d’autres voiles, mais aussi de la balade dans d’autres décors (îles, côtes, navires…). Bref une bonne base pour un jeu qui reste à se developper 😉

Brilliant game it’s so realistic. The variables such as wind strength adds to excellent piece of work. All credit to the developers. It would be great to have more courses in future I’ll certainly pay a premium for them.

all my life I have wanted to be a sailor. Everyday I would slave away at memorizing my points of sail. Now that I have this app, Top Sailer has saved my bread. I have been nominated for president sailor in my region. I am one of the best sailors in the world. The characters are so real and feel like close friends after the years. Lovely app 10/10!

Please for the love of God, have the option to move the rudder to the left side of the screen. 2 reasons; 1. Its more ergonomic. Instead of stretching your hand and loosing the ability to reach full right rudder because the main sheet is in the way - it’ll always have full range and feel more natural to how we hold the screen.
1. Always at the most inopportune times, such as when stretching your finger over to the far side of the screen to tack, if your finger lifts off the screen even just a tiny bit, the phone interprets this as minimizing the app which then causes the game to pause. But when you hit Resume, you’ve lost control.
Along with this, the main sheet often becomes unresponsive to touch.
A very frustrating and repetitive occurrence. It’s literally the only things that make me want to throw my phone. 🤣

Thank you for your comments. We just wanted to make sure: do you know that you can tilt the device to control rudder? (like a steering wheel in a car?) This is how most users control the left/right turns. Hardly anyone uses the on-screen slider. Can you provide more details on what you mean by saying that “main sheet becomes unresponsive”. Do you mean the vertical slider on the right edge of the screen?
Best sailing simulator I’ve found
If you want to recreate the excitement and feel of racing a small sailing dinghy than this app does it brilliantly - it has a great feel to it that keeps you coming back for more...
The wind variations are fairly realistic, the water almost splashes out of the screen - and the dinghy feels like a Solo, although the sail isn’t fully battened on the model. And you can go swimming from time to time, just like the real thing! Races are nearly always exciting - start positions are random and sometimes there’s a bit of catching up to do, hit another boat and there’s a time penalty, you don’t just need skill to win, you need a bit of luck too... and thats just like reality - this sim lets you have bad races as well as good, so you want “just one more go”

Minor comments - don’t understand why the sail lowers in a capsize..., would love more courses and a couple more dinghy classes (a more challenging boat). And random weather across all the race courses.
But this is a wonderful simulation of dinghy sailing and comes very close to capturing the real feel of a competitive race with the right tactics needed to beat the AI competitors...

Yeah! It’s back!
Thank you for updating this to work on iOS 11+. It’s my favorite thing on the whole iPhone and I really missed it! I have a cruiser but this gives you such a feeling of the wind and water that I don’t miss an advanced sail plan like some other critics want. It’s simple and wonderful. Don’t change! Oh except... haha. The wind sound seems to be more extreme than the wind conditions. A fine tune if any. I really love this app!

Won't save your info
I enjoy the game so far....BUT everytime I work through the training and start doing races....it won't remember and give me credit.... So next time I want to play I have to totally start from scratch.
Worst ever app!
I wanted to give zero star but there was no option; this is the worst ever app but it's not cheap! A total waste of money. It simply doesn't work and it's bad design anyway.

Die Missionen sind unrealistisch die Steuerung eine Katastrophe. Spaß Faktor gleich null. Schade das es keine Geld zurück Garantie für Dummheit gibt, denn das war ich leider als ich fünf Euro für diesen Schrott ausgegeben habe. Enttäuschend.

Die Auswahl an solchen Simulatoren ist ja leider eher gering. Allerdings macht das diesen nicht besser. Das Interface ist ne Katastrophe. Da durchzusteigen ist schwieriger als zu segeln. Und das bei der Steuerung. Alles in allem ist es ein Regatta-Sim. Einfach nur Segeln ist nicht. Wie gesagt: noch mal nicht.

Not for yacht racing fans
It's a great game if you enjoy recreational sailing and or want to get a basic idea on how it works. But I found it a bit dissatisfying if your into yacht races because the boats do not have a jib or spinnaker nether does it use the 2 way floating marks but rather one way gates. Great start but could use improvement. Personally I would love it if there where more boats to chose from especially larger ones with a jib. A plus over other apps I've seen-the ability to furl your sail in heavy conditions, the amazing graphics and a great toutorial!
