Won’t accept mobile phone number
The app won’t let me use my mobile phone number to make an account. Frustrating!
No point in app for customers of the north of Ireland
Such a let down. Don’t download the app to top up. Pointless app for us customers in the northern of Ireland
Doesn’t work in NI
Why sell electric in NI if you can’t be bothered to adapt your app to let customers top up
No Northern Ireland app
Not offering an app to top up in NI. Only available to ROI customers. This service is offered by all other service providers in NI.
It’s 2019, get your act together Electric Ireland
It’s 2019, get your act together Electric Ireland
Useless in NI
As said in previous reviews this app is useless in N Ireland as it will not recognise a UK mobile number
Rubbish
Don’t bother getting this app
App top up
Won’t let Northern Ireland customers use the app which is the handy option instead of using the website . Really disappointed
Sort the app out !
Absolute joke this app doesn’t work in for the north of Ireland customer Selling a product that the customer can’t even use the app for !! Sort it out “electric Ireland “ its 2019 FFS
Trasssh go away from it
Trash looking already to go back to my previous supplier
Useless
Used many broken apps in my time but this is a joke don’t bother downloading just head to the shop with the card. I’d give a zero star if I could but Apple need 1
Why not?
Moved over from Power NI were I used there app for payments expecting the same here. Been sold on the fact that Electric Ireland are all singing / all dancing but not if you’re a customer in Northern Ireland. C’mon, get this sorted.
Disappointed
Switched on promises that it would be easy to top up . Months later still wouldn’t let northern customers top up on the app . To Mitch hassle . As soon as contract is up I will be switching back .
Martin
Can’t log in despite checking details were correct. Judging by other reviews, this is a widespread problem here in NI. Poor excuse for a “convenience” app.
APP doesn’t cover NI customers
If you live in NI then you can’t use their app (despite what the sales rep may tell you!). Very disappointed. You have to log in to their website every time you need a top up. Not as convenient as an app.
Rubbish app wont let you log in!
Absolute rubbish can't even log in. Have to log in on browser to top up my meter!
Northern Ireland
Very disappointed that App only works for Southern Ireland customers! I was used to submitting meter readings and checking my bill via my previous suppliers App and I’m less than pleased that I was not told upfront at point of sale that I would not be able to use the App. As I’m still within the ‘cooling off’ period I’m seriously considering cancelling and returning to SSE! 😡

Pathetic app
Come on Electric Ireland, make an app that we can use in NI or just like the other reviewers, we’ll be changing to another provider
Cannot create an account
It’s now March 2018 and still customers from NI cannot create and account on this app which is useless. Considering apps are for handiness sake! Had I know this i would have stuck to my previous provider whom I was happy with and able to use the app at my own leisure!
Northern Ireland customers?!?!
Why can’t Northern Ireland customers use the app? No one said anything about this !!!’ Disappointed on that.
Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid
Do not use these cowboys. I changed last year as they offered £75 for me to switch. Boy was I sorry. Online app won’t work as it won’t recognise my mobile number and when you top up via a phone you’ll get a voice saying sorry there’s a fault yet this is after they take your money and you’re on hold for hours. Bunch of cowboys. I can’t wait until April when I can change back to my old supplier. People please avoid.
