Miss print

After being dragged into the 21st-century, I have come to enjoy reading the enewspapers each day. I do miss print though, especially for doing puzzles. This is why I’m giving the four out of five star rating.

Latest version bug

I really liked being able to use the arrow keys on the iPad for moving the page up, down, left, and right. With the latest version I can no longer use the arrow keys.

Topeka Capital-Journal review

I enjoy reading the paper everyday. It does a nice job of covering local, national and world news. I especially enjoy the daily comics.

It’s fine

Not a bad app itself but as a decently tech savvy person, I cannot figure out how to cancel my subscription. Stopping the subscription is not user-friendly. It says it’ll be charged to iTunes subscription, but when you go there it says “no subscriptions”, even though I got an email about an upcoming charge. Frustrating

Great way to get my news!

I love getting my newspaper on my phone!

Works well

I use the iPad for reading the newspaper. I have the ability to use the left-right, up-down arrow keys which is a real plus.

Balance

A half truth, told as a whole truth is an untruth.

Current News

I enjoy getting the update on Kansas news, both sports and political. Keep up the good work! I look forward to reading the paper every morning and catching up on the latest news on state politics, sports teams, and business news.

I wish I could use it

What a junk app this is now! It hasn’t worked flat a couple of weeks. I want my money back! It gets a no star rating

Caffeine Ritual

Without my morning Topeka Capital Journal “fix” my decades old caffeine ritual wouldn’t be possible. Alan Feldhausen, Marysville.

Useless, nothing for me to “enter” on it for my iPad!

Regional news

While I can get national news from TV and newspapers, Northeast Kansas and Kansas as state level news, the Topeka Capital-Journal is still trying to keep readers informed about news from the capital of Kansas and our favorite sports teams from high school to the pros. If this regional coverage stops, then so will my subscription to the paper.

Online paper

Cannot get the enewspaper to load. Very very frustrating and annoying enough to cancel. Also cannot pull up comics and is a main reason I read the newspaper

Good local and regional coverage

The Capital Journal does stays on top of State news from the capital while reporting on local changes and sports. The easy connection to USA Today is also great.

New version

I use the iPad for reading the newspaper. With the new version the ability to use the left-right, up-down arrow keys has been removed. Also, with the new version installation the number of security verifications (choose the windows with motorcycles, or buses, etc) was ridiculous.
