Developers clearly have lost touch with this app

Went from 5 stars to only one. I wish I could vote 0 or negative stars.

Read the comments on any new pack drop. The user base for Skate is completely furious and the developers aren’t doing a thing about it.

Pack odds are a joke, so good luck completing your sets or finding that card you want unless you want to shell out $100/wk in diamonds.

Packs for the 24 season are incredibly boring and are using really bad quality images on them. Some even are using the identical photos as the last season.

It’s blatantly clear that all these people care about is micro transactions and getting as much money out of you as they possibly can.

The developers need to read the room, listen to their user base and quit being so greedy. Last season was near perfectly balanced as far as structure, and had to go and completely screw it all up.

Change things back to how they were. Because how it is now is really upsetting to a LOT of people.

Get it together, Topps. This is a complete joke.

Fun but has one very annoying glitch

I just want to say this is a great game and love the idea of collecting cards without paying real money. The problem is this glitch that keeps happening. What happens is some packs have the option to save time and just buy the pack five or ten packs at a time BUT IT ONLY GIVES YOU ONE PACK! It costs all your coins and you get ONE stinkin pack

Topps is Pricing themselves out

Used to have fun in this app. Odds were fair to get a decent card and you didn’t feel the “need” to buy diamonds as often. You found always find a trade and usually end up with the card you wanted. I had fun interactions with others on the app who were true fans of the game of hockey and collecting.
More recently Topps has made it almost impossible to keep up wit collections…laziness in cards where you see same pictures being used on different sets. Legendary upon legendary cards with awards, forcing you to buy hundreds of dollars on diamonds just to keep up, but with pack odds and actual value of cards but equal to what you get. Many long time collectors are leaving due to costs, horrible people holding cards for ransoms and fear after seeing what happened to Kick. Some folks on here spent thousands per month and no longer get the card they want. This is either a result of greed for $ or terrible direction from someone at Topps. Either way, they are going to lose more loyalty and folks will stop dumping money in the app. If that’s the goal to just make this go away, then I don’t see Topps changing.

Good but could be better.

Trading is very confusing to understand at first, trade chat is practically useless unless you have tens of thousands of cards. A more open marketplace where you can post what you have available or even auction them off for coins would be a lot more fun in my opinion.

Also, don’t even waste your time trying to get extra coins by using the tapjoy survey feature. They never work, and they just link you to websites that obliterate your email address with spam and sell your personal data. Just watch the ads instead.

Pretty good

Pretty good game with a solid premise but I think there needs to be an auction system. When there is no way to get a card other than to trade, it kinda gives the person the trade was offered to, to much power. Also, an auctioning system would give cards a coin value instead of just a rarity. I feel like if they added this, the game would be much improved.

Hey, i’ve been playing this game for a few years now and I absolutely love it! It is a must-have game for any hockey card collector! Just one thing, I think you should make missions give out more coins because I just want to have fun opening packs just to come see that i have 1.5k coins. So maybe can you make coins easier to get and packs less expensive? Thank you so much!

I love this app if u like collecting this is for you awesome and unique designs plenty of memorabilia and autos to pull and not very hard or rare to get them!!! I’ve been a collector since 1985 and it’s just as exciting as opening the real thing!! I highly recommend this app definitely gets 5 ⭐️’s from me!! Happy hunting

Love it but…

I love opening packs, it’s probably the most fun thing for everyone in the app, but for the iconic's they are sometimes 1:500 3,000 coins in order to get that you need a lot of coins, so I’m not asking for iconic’s but I am asking for more ways to get free/easy ways to get coins so everyone can open more packs!!

Suggestion

Love this app. Big hockey fan and this allows me to dive into the teams/players & look at stats. I have a suggestion that would, I think, improve the app. Is there a way in a next update you all could add music? Just like the NHL video games, I always loved the background music they’d play. Maybe that’s something you all could do too.

Keep up the good work with this app. Music would be a cherry on top (if ppl don’t want music, have a button in settings, just like in any other game, that you could turn off).

Hey there! Love the game I’m a huge hockey fan. A Caniac to be exact! I recemmend that you add trade tab a group tab to be exact where users who like the same team can trade with each other! And also talk about their team

LOVE IT

I’m a huge hockey fan and it is a lot of fun to get to collect and trade cards with others! I check it multiple times a day and it’s become my favorite app on my phone! I do wish they had more giveaways like the other Topps card games which make it easier to collect coins. Also it would be nice if we could sell cards to others for coins or even back to the the store. I do like how they are active in packs and there are usually updates daily! Overall, great app for hockey fans!



Prize tickets?

Are prize tickets coming back this year? I haven’t seen them as contest rewards yet, so I’m assuming they’re gone. If that’s the case, will users who have hundreds of leftover tickets from last year be able to trade in unused tickets for coins or diamonds?

I would have just used them all last year if I knew they weren’t coming back, but I assumed they would rollover to ‘23 as they have in years past.

Freeze freeze freeze

I played on your app for a few weeks and had fun, but it kept freezing when I was either trying to buy a pack with gold or diamonds. And when I say freeze, I mean FREEZE! To the point where I would close the app, come back 4-5 hours later and it’s still frozen.
Very aggravating! Only way it can be unfrozen is to totally reboot my iPhone. I should also point out every time it deducted whatever I was using to make the purchase and didn’t ever give me any cards.
Tired of having to reboot my phone so many times a day, so I’ve deleted your app. Great idea, but has big issues! I won’t be back.

Fine game, terrible people

I have played this game on and off for years. The game itself is awesome and is very enjoyable. What is not enjoyable are all the other users. Never have I seen so much hate and bullying in one place. When you report it the customer service is terrible. It takes days to respond and if they actually respond they just give you the link to the rules and do nothing. I have now deleted the app since the game is a very toxic and unwelcoming community. You are better off doing something else with your time than downloading this app.
