I can't login with my Apple account
I've got a paid subscription for the year and now I can't access my account....
Slow and choppy
Too many adds and videos. Slow, choppy and frustrating as hell. Frustrating and useless now.
Problem with ads
Ads block the content, impossible to use the app.
Constantly Freezes
It was bad enough when they got rid of the Sunshine Girl, but now this pos app always crashes my phone trying to load up 2-3 ads at once. Maybe focus on a user-friendly experience instead of ad revenue and you’ll get better reviews.
Criminal business practices
I will never support these crooks ever again. Instead of charging reasonable subscription prices, they scam you. To hell with your jobs and local news.
I’m not happy
I am currently paying for a subscription and yet I am unable to access the app????
Used to be truly the best
Unable to view articles anymore. Only way to view is to be a subscriber. Deleted the app.
Subscribed but no access
I try to read stories and keep getting a message its “only for subscribers”. website works ok, just not this app.
Disaster Update
After update, the app works terribly. Ads block menus. Some free, some pay articles. Absolutely disastrous. It was a great app. Can’t find the columnists now. Not worth any payment. I was a regular reader but not now.
Constantly Freezes
Like all Post Media apps this one is poorly designed and freezes my iPhone constantly. Deleted.
Losing Readers
Now it’s subscription only, with adds. Better news options. Lost me as a reader.
Old version was better
The previous version was much better, easier to navigate. Very frustrating to try to find what I’m looking for now unless it’s a “top story”…no thanks…
App is horrible
The new format is cumbersome and difficult to navigate if it remains like this subscription will be cancelled.

Toronto Sun, what happened?!? Why did you change the app? This new app is harder to read, smaller print, disjointed, awkward; this change was a big mistake!
New update ruined the app
App is basically unusable because of the new pop up ads
New 2025 format is not great
The previous format was easier to navigate and read articles. I was also able to have a dark theme. There is a continuous scroll for all content now vs in the past I would just easily see the top stories and then go to the sports section. I don’t know if the format or the content has been bad because I have found that I have read less articles than before. Thus less advertising for The Sun. It almost feels like my feed is showing old content and I no longer have that updated content on the main page when opening the app in the previous version. I hope the developers take note and make adjustments. I’m currently going to other sources for news online.
