Optimisations for the latest iOS version

User reviews

Neither my new iPhone or my 2018 iPad Pro will see the Bluetooth

How about an update that will make it work with Apple?

Need work

This app would be a lot more useful if you could download map sections for use outside of cellular coverage. And, it badly needs an update!

Outdated

No updates since initial release? No bug fixes. No update to 64 bit? No update for iOS 9 or iOS 10? Seriously? Hire a developer. Just like boats need maintenance, so do apps!

Makes purchasing these motors worth it...

I just put on my nucanoe kayak that I rigged with two ultralight motors .... If the app would support the apple watch it would be a game changer for these motors and would sell a lot more of these motors (especially for the ultralight crowd who have a hard time with phone mounts). Imagine a speedometer on your wrist! Also the ability to edit the start and finish time on each trip would be helpful in case one forgets to stop recording and loads the kayak and drives off... As I learned when my top speed of my last trip registered 55 mph and had to delete the whole trip! I just hope they keep developing this product, adding features, as it is really great.

FAQ

What Torqeedo motors does TorqTrac support?

TorqTrac supports the Torqeedo Travel, Cruise R/T/FP, and Ultralight drives. For certain throttle levers (1949-00, 1950-00, 1951-00, 1952-00), no additional accessories are needed as a Bluetooth transmitter is integrated. For other throttles, a TorqTrac Bluetooth module is required.

How accurate is the range display in TorqTrac?

The range display is based on current conditions, including wind and current, as well as remaining battery capacity. For Cruise models with lead or third-party lithium batteries, the range display is only valid if the Torqeedo Cruise System has been updated with the battery's capacity and chemical characteristics.

Can I use TorqTrac offline?

The app utilizes Google Maps for its map screen, which typically requires an internet connection for full functionality. While some trip logging data might be stored locally, real-time map features and range estimations will likely depend on connectivity.
