Won't let me put stuff from device to storage
Works okay as far as accessing stuff already on the storage device but I can't transfer stuff from my phone to the hard drive. Kind of pointless if you can't do both. Needs update.
Does not work with ANY iOS newer than 8!!
Basically does not work with any Apple device unless you haven't updated in the last two years. This product seems really awesome but is completely let down by the app. As previous reviews said, I can access and stream anything from a USB device but I can't upload anything from my mobile device, which is the whole purpose I purchased. I called Toshiba support and they said it was a hardware issue with the device that won't work on anything newer than iOS 8.

Use VLC for streaming
Too many limitations, VLC streams mkv using the Toshiba device. Easy peasy. Just use this to connect to the Internet
Disappointing
I paid $12 for the wifi gizmo. The software is terrible. I can transfer files FROM an USB device but not to a USB device. That totally defeats the purpose of having the gizmo.

Can't edit internet settings, and that is very critical option for me

App keeps crashing. Also can't see local content. Very frustrating, app works on husband's not Apple phone flawlessly.

If you bought the Toshiba wireless adapter to turn an external HDD into a WiFi-enabled HDD, this is the app you need. The Toshiba Canvio app will not work with your adapter - it never recognizes the drive attached. This app, once installed, works as advertised.
