One star; zero wasn’t an option

Ads for an electronic remote seemed greedy, however, the app not functioning-at all with constant pop ups is not an app for me.

FAQ

What does Toshy do?

Toshy is a remote control application designed to operate Toshiba smart televisions. It connects to your TV via your home network (WiFi or Ethernet) and allows you to control its functions directly from your iPhone.

How do I set up Toshy?

No manual adjustment is typically needed. The app automatically detects your Toshiba smart TV on your network, provided the TV is powered on and connected. Once detected, you can begin controlling your TV.

Is Toshy free to use?

The application offers a subscription model. While there might be a free trial period, full access to premium features requires a monthly auto-renewing subscription. You can manage your subscription and auto-renewal settings through your Apple account.

What Toshiba TVs are compatible with Toshy?

The application works with all televisions equipped with "Smart TV" technology that are connected to your home network (WiFi or Ethernet). Your TV must be powered on for the app to detect it.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal through your Apple Account Settings. While you cannot cancel the current active subscription period, you can prevent future charges by disabling auto-renewal before the current period ends.
