About

Tossling gives your iPhone and your computers one clipboard. Copy text on the Mac, and a second later it is on the phone. Tap To Computer on the phone, and the computer can paste it. It sends text and links, images and screenshots, and files up to 500 MB from the share sheet. Tossling has no cloud of its own. The apps talk to Tossling Server, a free open source server that you run in one Docker container. Everything is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on the devices, and the server only passes ciphertext along. There are no accounts and no analytics. A phone and any number of computers share one room, on macOS, Windows and Linux. The phone joins by scanning the QR code that a computer shows. When you remove a device, the others move to a new key. Your servers, builds and scripts can post to channels of your server, and every device shows these posts as notifications, with priorities and quiet hours. On the iPhone there is a Shortcuts action "Send to Tossling", the share sheet takes photos and files, and pushes show what has arrived. You need a computer with Tossling and a Tossling Server. Both are free at github.com/Tossling. To look around first, tap Try without a computer, and a demo computer answers you for an hour.
