Doesn’t work
Completely lost all access to my previously purchased issues. Tried several times to restore purchases but I never works. What a waste of money!
Has something for everyone
Always a great read. Something new and interesting to learn to play every month.
A Wealth of Guitar Geekness
Guitar inspiration for all levels. Not only do you get excellent lessons with audio but toss in great artist interviews from not only established artist but also some artist below the mainstream audience. This is one of the places I learn of some amazing artists. Then add gear reviews that give you all info you need, all in a handy well presented format. Worth every penny!

Well worth the price
It’s fun to read and good songs to play.
Great App and good company
This app has vastly improved and is very helpful in keeping on track while practicing. Plenty of challenging material and good examples to play along with.
I have ordered several times and there have beeN minor issues, but they usually resolve the problem in my favor.
Keep it up, my one request would be to make the practice tracks a little longer ....

Great magazine, great app to read it with
I subscribe to a number of online magazines and this one is really great. Easy to use, good navigation, etc. Thanks!
Used to be better
The backing track for the tabbed songs no longer plays in the background whilst reading the tab. It has for a while opened up in the browser so you can’t read the tab and play along to the backing track at the same time, not much use.
Nice!
Nice! (Very Nice!)
Rip off
I subscribed to the print and digital version. I was unable to log into the print version and after finally being able to it said I had to pay to download the current issue. After numerous attempts to contact the company I only received automated messages with a link to the same useless faq page on the app. I had no choice but to turn the matter over to the fraud department of my bank in order to get my money back. Don’t waste your money on this.

Not good will not load Bought a couple magazine can’t read them
App currently hangs... possibly needs an update?
All the Future Magazine apps appear to be crashing since iOS 11. Looks like the last update to the app was a year ago.
Terrible!
Buy! Buy! Buy! rammed down your throat every second before even having a chance to look around at the app. so i said bye! 😉
Total Guitar is Perfect Beginner to Intermediate Mag
Total Guitar is Perfect Beginner to Intermediate Magazine with really good tips, and at least 1 good song per mag.
So useful
Great revamp of this magazine good for all abilities love jamming along to the tracks on digital version. I didn't start playing till I was 50 so some of them old songs would be great.
Brilliant
TG is by far the best guitar player's magazine. It suits all abilities from beginner to pro there is something for every one. And it has great features too! Brilliant
They ripped me off
I have had this app for awhile and all was great. Tried to read one if my back issues. Got message that my files were corrupted and was instructed to delete and re-download my issues. Now I see that a couple of issues I had purchased are gone. I have to buy them again to read them. Emailed the developer twice and no response. Screw em, I'll never give them another dime!!!!!

Great content, poor app
I've been a digital subscriber for about a month. I've bought the Back Issue Bundle also. But the dreadful functionality of this app, & the Failed to Load Store message continuously, means i can't download the magazines i've paid for. It's a great magazine but the app makes me feel like i've been cheated.

Guitar music end in the 80's
Just looking at the store - all the music ACDC, the Police, the Beatles - is from the past. No new bands using guitar anymore? Don't want to rebel to my parents / grand parents music now do I? Get rid of the stuff and start covering new bands and give them a shot too.
Great content - need better means to browse and search issues
I have bought the paper and disc version of TG since I started playing guitar in 1994 (issue 9) and it's always a great resource. I recently took up an offer to buy the entire digital back catalogue. This is a great deal and I do love the digital format for convenience.
My big gripe though is the poor search capability and lack of a simple contents summary for each issue. I used to have my favourite paper issues and came to know the covers and contents off the top of my head. I shouldn't have to do that with digital content though - a contents page in text with the ability to search by genre, artist and title would make this a real winner. As it is, it can be painful trying to find a transcription without downloading entire issues.
Fix this one limiting factor and I would happily bump up to 5 stars. The same also applies for the Guitar Techniques app which has the exact same issue.
