I thought this would be a nice app to use to support local businesses but I couldn’t be more wrong.
First off, the app was extremely glitchy and crashed nearly every 5 seconds. I wasn’t able to set up an account for a week because I could barely get past step one.
The second problem were the crazy fees. The prices seemed reasonable on the menu but by the time I got through taxes and driver gratitude, it was almost an extra $20.
The last thing is one that was the deciding factor for me. I ordered from a small business because I wanted to support it but my order never arrived. When I called the number that was listed, the owner said they had never partnered with Total Takeout or given permission to put their menu on the app. I felt bad for the restaurant so I decided to order directly from them and I found another problem. The prices on Total Takeout had been jacked up from the original menu, some as much as $10!
Do not use or trust this app, they get by on stealing from small businesses.

Crap app
Horribly thought out app. There should be an order confirmation page, and there should be a way to cancel an order.
Great local option
Lots of places on here that aren’t on the other big apps. Happy to support local delivery options. Looks like other reviews were left before an app refresh, works fine now. Great service thus far.

Many if not all complaints I have seen on here have been addressed in your latest update and it looks and feels great! Love to support local and there are restaurants on here you that I haven’t seen on other platforms. Congrats!
Zero stars
If I could give 0 I would. So poorly made it feels like a scam. The flow is totally off and extremely frustrating to use. I was unable to order with it and ended up using DoorDash for another restaurant.
I can’t believe it’s this bad
I don’t write app reviews. It’s not worth my time. This is so bad I had to. I have no idea why anyone would waste their time with this app when DoorDash, UberEasts, etc exists.
It’s clearly a very poorly made hybrid app - often (literally) showing you a webpage asking you to download the app on the App Store .... inside the app.

Waste of time
They sent me a flyer in the mail but don’t even deliver to the area..
Horrible
Extremely slow and does not remember your address. Every time you open it you have to retype your entire address.
