One 2 many gray areas for me in app purchases doesn’t mean that I have to pay for the app shouldn’t have folk putting in all of their information only to find out that they have to pay for the app, for that alone tells me that this company is being deceptive so that ALARMS ME if I could give zero stars I would give a minus zero stars. Enough is Enough with these companies trying to trick & scam us !!

Good for checking ingredients
This food scanning app has honestly made such a difference in my daily life. As someone with allergies, grocery shopping used to be stressful because I had to carefully read every ingredient list and worry about missing something important. Now I can simply scan a product and instantly see if there are any ingredients or additives I should be concerned about. My favorite feature is the allergy alert because it lets me know right away if something contains an ingredient that could cause a reaction. It gives me so much more confidence when I’m shopping and saves me a lot of time. I genuinely feel safer using it, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants a simpler and more reliable way to make informed food choices.

Amazing and accessible
I use this all the time when I'm shopping for my baby sister. Being able to scan products and quickly see if they're harmful makes me feel like a great brother. It's really simple to use and saves me a lot of time trying to read every label. Definitely worth it!

Helping my son eat cleaner
I used to not be the best at finding the best foods for my son, but with Totsy it’s become a lot easier. Almost everything I scan is supported on Totsy so it makes it very easy for me to see the full breakdown of each food. This has helped me become a much more healthy shopper for myself and my family!

I exposed 12 foods!
Totsy makes it so easy to keep my family safe. I can scan products instantly and feel confident about what I’m buying without second guessing every label. I already exposed 12 foods that had lead and contaminants in them. Honestly it’s easily worth a few dollars per month for the peace of mind alone.

It doesn’t work and just makes you go through a bunch of questions to pay. Do not recommend this at all
Deceptive
The Instagram ad said “see what’s in your child’s foods FOR FREE”. But what it doesn’t tell you is that you have to give your cc information to get a 7 day free trial only. Deceptive at best.
Cultural food
As a South Asian desi living in NYC, me and my family eat a lot of cultural foods where the nutrition labels are sometimes not even in English, so it can be hard to know what’s actually in the food. Totsy has been super helpful because it translates everything into English and gives the food a score at the same time. I also really love the personal red flag feature because instead of sitting there reading every ingredient, it instantly tells me if there’s something I should watch out for. It honestly makes grocery shopping way easier for me and my family while still letting us enjoy the foods we grew up eating.

Way too privacy invasive
Why do you care who I am, or a child’s name? I just want to scan food for ME, not a child. When you have one that doesn’t ask for so much personal data and doesn’t care who it’s for I might download it again, but till the, thanks anyways…
It’s been so helpful with my nephew
My nephew is the fussiest baby and we couldn’t figure out why but then we talked to a nutritionist and they said the food might be giving him a lot of gas. So we used this app to figure out the ingredients of the food we have and realized that some of the baby food we had did actually cause gas in our baby. Really helpful info. Couldn’t recommend enough
