Buggy, waste of money
Many problems in latest version
But as of version 1.7.6 things changed. The developer tried to streamline how this app sends patch information to the virus. This modification has broken many, many features of this app. Screen is out of sync with the virus when saving and loading custom patches, wrong parameters values are sent to the virus on patch load, to just name a few. The very sad thing here is that the original method used to send information to the virus worked perfectly. On a 16 part multi load the original app would take roughly 30 seconds to load the entire multi. The app would send sysex messages and for each and every parameters too the virus. Worked perfectly.
In the new version, the developed sends a single long string of numbers to the virus that contains all the parameters values. It’s fast this way because sysex messages contain a lot of redundancy. How much faster? A 16 part multi load now takes about 16 seconds to load into the virus.
The amount or problems this change caused is insignificant next to the issues it created. I don’t think many people cared much to save a few seconds on a patch or multi load….at leas it saw no complaints about it in any of the reviews or in the git hub issue log. I sent an request to the developer on the apps git hub page requesting the original version but have not heard from him.
I really wish the developer had not messed with a good thing and decides to at least somehow give users access to version 1.7.5 unit, the new version works properly.

The decision to streamline the patch information transfer to the Virus was aimed at improving compatibility with a wider range of USB to MIDI interfaces, particularly the more affordable ones that many of our users utilize. I acknowledge that this change might have brought about issues for others. I cannot give access to earlier builds because the App Store does not give me that option. I want to assure you that I am committed to enhancing the user experience and will work towards finding a solution that accommodates both the improvements made in the latest version and the preferences of users who found the previous method more suitable for their needs.

Easy to create new patches with many presets.
It will be grate to integrate one day it in GarageBand or Audiobus

Thanks! Nice new update is coming within a couple of weeks with improved patch library (search and favorites). Plugin versions and Audiobus compatibility are being researched for the next version.
Total Game Changer!
I really like how easy it is to program very complex modulation routings for the modwheel! That alone is a huge time saver for me, and my recent patches are sounding much more “alive”. Please keep working on this app! Any new features would most welcome! 5 STARS! 👏👏
