PHY335

Excellent à utiliser dans le cadre d’un cours de physique des ondes.

Black screen

Doesn't work. App does not progress past a black screen.

Great teaching tool

I have used this app extensively as a physics tutor. Animations are great for explaining many concepts.

Complet en une seule application.

C'est un outil pédagogique proche de la perfection. Il ne manque plus que de le porter sur la mac.

Meilleure application de physique!

Pour un cours de physique des ondes cette application est simplement délicieuse, pratique et nécessaire ! :D

not for IPad 1

Animations do not work on IPad 1 (IOS 5.1). App closes if animations are started ;-(

Excellent

Super app

Should work but!!M

Help there's no help and it stuck on one screen. It would be nice if it were really in English too.

Great

This is a great app, well worth the money. It really shows physics concepts and equations, great for college students.
Lags sometimes, but not enough to make it bad.

A bit too advanced for high school

Won't be terribly helpful for a high school student. As a high school teacher, I was looking for animations that I could share with my students. Many of the "animations" in this app are just illustrations.

Probably would be very helpful for a university student looking for a tidy collection of formulas and brief explanations.

Great app

I've looked at a ridiculous number of apps to use for tutoring college students in physics. This app provides excellent illustrations of so many basic physics concepts and makes seeing the relationships between the equations and the physical phenomena which they describe easy to see. Great job!

Nice Animations!

This would help as a Physics students nonetheless! I give it 5 stars with just touching the optics section, Lol.... loving touching animations with my fingertips....

If I find errors I will rerate and point out errors and will give 5 stars again if they are addessed.

Thanks again!

You spelled chapters wrong... I wonder what else.

Very promising

Mixed feelings about this review...

On one hand, you have lists of formulas with the parameters off screen, so lots of scrolling is required.

On the other hand, you get some beautifully animated and interactive demonstrations of the principles being shown.

If the app explained the parameters as a sub-menu off each formula, I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5/5.

Not bad

I teach a high school physics course and was looking for something to use on my iPad to demo some basic light Ray diagrams. This is ok. Some diagrams run off the screen though. Also, it is not HD, so it is a bit grainy on the iPad. Of course the big limiting factor is that you can't project the images. Would be nice if the developer built in the option to project like Apple's Keynote.

Very helpful

Animations are great and helps to understand better! Althought, I suggest to be able to edit more. Also, the animation slows a bit down in the section Doppler. It realy helped me with lenses and mirrors as much as other sections. (grande aide pour le programme PHY-NAC du collégial)
