LONG TIME USER - Honest review
I'm a veteran to the game of over 5 years.
Bottom line - the game is HEAVILY geared to make you spend money. If you want to build a town to max, it will literally take you years and years to accomplish. You have to spend money to make reasonable progress.
Here's the kick in the balls of it all. Let's say you spend your hard earned money, which you have to to compete in guilds, etc. If you know the settings well, you can easily beat teams 5 or even 10 levels higher. It's just a scam to get you excited about the game. Truth is, if you go through all the hard work to reach the top 2 levels, the AI changes. Suddenly, teams that were higher level and you beat on a regular basis. Now they beat you. It literally happens the moment you're at the same level. It's all just to get you to buy players, hoping it will resolve the issue.
The AI is garbage to begin with. Currently, the QB does some ridiculous 40-50 yard backwards pass, catches the ball himself, and you lose huge chucks of yards. What is that all about? I've seen these glitches many times over the years. You can't run the ball at higher levels. Forget it. You have to pass or you'll surely lose every game.
It's a very fun game, don't get me wrong. That's why I played it and you can meet other people. As you get more competitive though, it'll all bite you in the butt.
I gave it 3 stars for being fun.
Would I do it all over again?
No. I wasted time and money to reach the top, literally the top, and the game screws you over backwards and forwards. I'd pass and play a different game.

Great Game, one minor complaint though
Amazing game, love the offensive side of the game, however, I do feel that defenses are too easy to beat, a primary component of this is that you can’t tell your defenses what to do but instead, they just do something random, the ability to tell defenses who or where to cover would be a great improvement to the games immersion

The game is addictive!
I’ve been playing for a couple of years. Many changes, some good and some bad. The game continues to evolve and I’m confident that the game issues will be resolved.
The game is dying a slow death
I’ve been playing for a couple of years and I love the game. The problem is that my compadres are quitting because of how expensive the game has gotten in order to be competitive. In addition, we’re not seeing the new players stick around long because they start out at such high levels that it’s impossible to be competitive unless (again) you spend hundreds of dollars. Needs more attention
This game could be really good if the developers have it more attention. It gets like 2 updates a year. I like playing it, but with a few changes this game could be something great

It’s pretty good I think it could use a better auction house and stuff be touched up a little

Been playing this game for a few years.starts out fun competing for players in the auction house and watching your little dots go to battle for the team. But then you start getting into the late game when you reach the high tiers and all of a sudden the players in the auction house pretty much vanish, there may be 15-20 players in the entire auction house. This to me seems like their way to get you to buy one of their $4.99 packages they sell so you can stay competitive. Game could go from a 2 star to a 5 star if they fixed that issue.

Need to update for newer iPhones
I used to play this game quite a bit on my 6s, eventually I fell out of it. I had the urge to download this game again but it doesn’t fit the screen for my iPhone XR. Also a major issue is once you stop playing the game it’ll take awhile just to get back to a regular team. I have RB’s playing OL because I don’t have enough, TE’s playing DL, and WR’s playing DB. At least until the screen issue is fixed, I will not be playing this game.

No Need To Waste Your Time
The game is boring, vague, and feels as though it was created by people who don’t understand the game of football. The concept of the game has potential but the game needs a complete overhaul by people who have a better comprehension of American football. I’ve read through the forums and there seems to be an overwhelming opinion that the developers have basically abandoned this game. Like I previously stated, the game concept has potential but it needs to be in better hands.

It’s a relatively fun game right now. Easy to play, and nice to do when you have a few minutes. However I do have some issues that would make this game more fun. Although it already is pretty good. For one my main is issue is when your playing games you’ve got one defensive formation, and three offensive formations, and only one run play and one pass play for each. Now I know I can go to advanced to setting and change who I hand it too, or throw to, but it takes away a lot of strategy. It would be nice if you unlocked one new play for each formation each time you level up your strategy center. My only other reccomendation is to be able to buy recruiting points with money, but have them be very expensive (because I know you need people to watch the ads). Other then those two things great game!

Really promising
There are still a few quirks to sort out, but the potential here is really exciting and worth checking out. Building out all aspects of your franchise is great fun, and the game can only keep on improving.
Better control of your lineups (especially special teams - having your kicker on kick returns is weird), and more ways to acquire players are probably the most pressing improvements needed, followed by better league tools and features.
As the NFL season approaches, more people should be playing which should make things more fun (and challenging) as well. I recommend getting in early and getting the jump on your future league mates!

Fun Football App
This is a very fun and addictive app. I love a lot of the elements of this game. The strategy you can change during the game, the plays that can be developed and the building all lends itself to an immersive gaming experience. What I don’t like is the way players can be acquired and let go. It reeked of being fixed by the developers to generate cash. I’m not against paying for a good game, but this affects how I’m able to play the game too much. So I have to say goodbye. Thanks for the fun and enjoy the money you’ve gotten from me, because you will not be getting anymore.
