Plain in design and rich in teaching multiplication

Presenting different contexts for multiplication, TouchTimes can supply students with multiple entry points for multiplicative reasoning. Also developing multiplicative reasoning through different situations can help students to build a common understanding about multiplication and transfer it to other contexts outside of TouchTimes.

I like The plain but striking design features of TouchTimes such as the sparkling effect of the orange balls. This can prevent students from engaging with distracting visuals and directing their attention to important visuals.

As a teacher I notice that Setting can allow me to in/activate varying features and create several different multiplication tasks.

Neat App & Great Task Ideas!

This app allows students to see, experience and think about multiplication in a much different way than I have previously taught it. The task ideas on the www.touchcounts.ca/touchtimes/ webpage really helpful when I was learning how to use TouchTimes with kids.
