They want your data
The fact that you MUST create an account and give them a legitimate email (and who knows what other personal info) just to use the Bluetooth feature I PAID FOR is unacceptable. In addition, the fact that the only way to access a user manual is through a live internet connection. You can’t download it. You can’t print it, not easily or without great effort and time investment. To top it off, the cheesy QR code they include for the manual does not work

App don’t work
I have an iPhone pro 14max and the tough built app will not work at all on my phone! Super angry and the fact that I just seen these reviews and they have done nothing to fix the problems! Returning it tomorrow!

The laser tool and Bluetooth app constantly flip flop from Connected disconnected connected disconnected…
App does not work.
Bluetooth constantly connects and disconnects rapidly. TB doesn’t seem to be interested in fixing as others have have reported the problem for some time and it is still happening.
Not working
Same as others - just connects and disconnects - this app does not work! I will be returning my device. Ugh.
Useless app
The app just connects and disconnects about once a second. I thought the app would be a cool feature but it’s not at all functional.
Poor app experience
The idea of this laser is great. I love toughbuilt products but this app is awful had issues getting it to accept an email to make account and now I’m on my second device and all it does is say connected then disconnected Bluetooth literally per second. If your buying to just use the laser only it’s probably great for that but the app is a crying shame

Took the leap over Bosch / Unable to create a simple account
I’ve decided to purchase a couple different products, unfortunately after downloading the application for your toughbuilt laser I’m unable to create a simple account due to an error saying my email is invalid after spending $100 plus dollars on this product.
App is unusable
Bluetooth will not stay connected long enough to do anything! Flickers between “connected” and “disconnected” every literal second!
Worst App I’ve Ever Used
I bought a ToughBuilt rangefinder because Lowe’s was out of the Bosch brand with Bluetooth functionality. I gave it a shot but wish I hadn’t. The app is so unusable I wonder how it ever got approved to be released in the App Store. Most text cannot be read because it is white on a white background. There is very limited functionality and you can’t even copy a measurement value to another app. I don’t know why anyone would ever try to use this app. I will be returning the range finder because the app is so bad.
