About

TowerDub is an all-in-one groovebox for building reggae riddims and mixing dub, live. Program kick, snare, hats and perc as four independent drum voices, each with its own pattern, velocity and p-locks. Layer in Bass, Chords, Lead and Pads — warm, analog-style synths built for roots and dub, playable on a scale keyboard and recordable live with real quantized overdub. Record a vocal chop or a field sample straight into the built-in Sampler. Mix it down through a proper dub desk: send delay and reverb per instrument, sweep a King Tubby–style resonant filter across any bus, throw in siren stabs, and pass your mic straight through the board. Cut instruments in and out live, capture the whole pass with one-tap dub recording, and keep multiple mix versions of the same riddim. No subscriptions — just a warm, hand-tuned instrument built for the sound of the desk.

Sound polish — more from the knobs you already have. • Chords: Spread is now a real ensemble. It widens the chord in stereo and, further up the knob, opens the voicing: the fifth, then the third, rise an octave while the root doubles an octave below. Sweep now also works below Morph 50%. • Pads: the noise layer now breathes with the slow filter movement. • Lead: the upper half of the Filter now opens up the sound instead of doing almost nothing. • Sampler: the Tape knob moves evenly across its whole range and keeps a steady volume. • iPadOS 27: the keyboard keys, the Siren pad and Freeze respond instantly again. • Fewer clicks: Chords and drum hits no longer tick when a long tail runs into the next hit. • Dub Siren knobs have more breathing room on iPhone. • New projects start with Chords Spread and Sweep at 0. Existing projects get their Chords Spread reset to 0 once, so nothing changes by surprise.
