Cute and Functional
This app has so many cute and functional templates and has so many layouts. You could make to do lists and take notes with it. It is an amazing app and has no subscription module
Great! But not perfect.
Making pretty to-do lists is one of the few things that can motivate me when executive dysfunction gets rough, and toxx has been a lifesaver in that regard. The templates are beautiful, and it’s relatively user-friendly and intuitive, even if you don’t speak the language.
Still, I have a few minor issues with the app, nothing dealbreaking for me but a few quality-of-life changes that I think definitely need fixing/improvement.
- Load times, especially with the notebook covers if you’re looking to make a new collection of notes/diaries. It can take several minutes just to load a collection of images to use as potential covers, and I don’t understand why, especially when the note templates and stickers load so much more quickly by comparison.
- Translation into english. I acknowledge that this is still a work in progress, but for an app that markets itself partially to an english-speaking consumer base, a lot of it is still missing translated text. To give a specific example, the timer tab in the bottom middle. I have no idea what any of that means.
- Bullet point toggling, specifically when you want to toggle whether you’re in bullet point mode and are not at the end of the note. Every time you toggle bullet points on and off, it takes you to the bottom line of the note, which can get frustrating. It doesn’t cause any actual problems since bullet points are literally just the “•” character and a space, but it can still be frustrating if you’re trying to work quickly.
- Note sizing is also a minor issue. On some notes, if you type more it’ll extend the note to be longer, but if you remove text it won’t shrink back down automatically, which can make the spacing feel awkward and unintentional. The only way to get past this (as far as I know) is finish writing, cut your text, switch to another template and switch back, put your font and size settings back, and paste your text back in. Again, this is doable but frustrating and shouldn’t be necessary.
- Finally, the scroll can be a little glitchy as well. If you write to the bottom of the note, sometimes you will start to type off screen and be unable to scroll back down to where you left off without closing and reopening your keyboard.
Overall, I still definitely recommend toxx notes. It looks beautiful and has been a huge help with my own motivation struggles, but I can’t ignore the handful of glitches and issues above, which are the only things preventing me from leaving a 5-star review. Hopefully this helps! :)

Nice app but isnt english
I like the app but its says one of the translations is english and i cant find anyway to change it, id be fine with that if i hadnt paid for the app expecting to be able to understand it and being lied to

Very cute and intuitive writing experience. I hope we can use system custom installed fonts. Also more color of fonts and background.

好可爱 但是就是有点不是很高清
用这个软件很舒服的一点就是不用担心写多少。因为是小小的便利贴的感觉，几句话几个词就可以。没有那么大的留白对我而言感觉很自在。贴纸和主题都好可爱 还很贴心的提供了多种字体！
唯一美中不足的就是保存到相簿里的图片分辨率不是很高…除了这点之外其他的都是5分
