Picture in Picture
After almost 3 years and the app still doesn’t support Picture in Picture. This means that I’m unable to do other things on my device whilst watching / listening content.
Will cancel my subscription until fixed since all other streaming apps offer this basic functionality.

Quite poor
Ive been waiting for this App for a while and have just downloaded it. Unfortunately, it gets stuck on adverts (1 of 5!), so while the audio is related to the film you've chosen, the visual remains with the advert. I might try subscribing to see if its any better. Maybe that's the point ...
Needs work on the APP
8 months since the last update, requires more/some work as the APP freezes during adverts on startup.
Disappointed .
Just can’t get this app to work. All kept getting was frozen image from a charity advert and nothing else.

Can’t use this app and there’s lots of old things I’d like to watch but it freezes at the beginning and NEVER works.
Back button doesn’t work
Impossible to navigate. Hard to believe this was allowed out into the world with a fatal design flaw.
Advertisements keep freezing
I don’t mind adverts, but when they keep freezing every 4-5 seconds & have to go out of app & back into it, it is very annoying …

Very poor app. Navigation unusable
Very poor app since the navigation buttons don’t work and how could it be worse than that. I appreciate talking pictures are a 3 person operation, I don’t use this app even though I love the programmes. It is unusable, however luckily for TP , I don’t think anyone who wants to use this app would be reading reviews or ratings before doing so

After a very disappointing premature release of the app I'm happy to discover it is working properly now and the TPTV Encore online player also working. Joy!

I’ve been using the Encore TPTV app for a few weeks now, and I’m truly impressed! I’m offended
I’ve not used the app much but I have an issue with the “warnings” about outdated attitudes and language which may offend viewers. I’m offended by these warnings. It’s rare these days for a modern film or TV programme not to contain gratuitous swearing and nudity etc yet we are being warned of a few mild expletives. We are adults, we don't need these ridiculous warnings.

Premature app release
I've been waiting for an Encore app for such a long time and now it is here it is but alas I cannot get it to play anything. I must add that the online version is also problematic. In a way this is perfect for an archive channel! but no, seriously please work on making your catch-up facilities as great as the channel.

Interesting Content Awful streaming
Whether using the http or the app the experience is awful. Both methods of access hang during numerous advert breaks and you have to start the whole sordid business again. TPTV are now inviting viewers to subscribe at £4.99 per month. They would have to vastly increase their content to justify this, adverts or not. They should also sort out programming issues during advert breaks.

Continue Watching and Favourite function
Great Content unfortunately let down by the app. Needs more work. It freezes during the ads, then it goes back to the beginning which means manually scrolling back through as there is no ‘continue watching’ function. Also needs lists need a function to add favourites.
