Hate it!
It is not kid free at all . The tracing lines are super thin. You had to press an arrow to scroll down the name instead of it automatically prompting the child to move on to the next letter. It was horrible! Donโt waste your money. Ughhh!!
Trash
App wonโt work
Love the idea of this !
I love the idea of this just what I was looking for ... but the capital I only shows a white square box. I know itโs a clutch fix that and Iโll give it 5 stars!!
Terrible!!!!
Not worth the price at all. It's terribly unfriendly for kids. Look at Edoki Names for a fraction of the price.
Not worth he high price
For the higher price of his app, I expected it to be more preschooler friendly. This is a simple app with only two screens total. Swiping does not move the screen so the child ends up scribbling all over trying to get to the next letter.
Still needs improvement.
Best app I researched for tracing actual names. For some letters like "I," in the word trace menu, it displays as a highlighted box that masks the letter. Could use an eraser tool.
Ok
The app is simple and kind of boring. It only does what it says.
However, my son is a lefty and it's perfect for him!

App has bugs in it that stop from tracing some letters
The app has some bugs. It won't allow the tracing of the last 2 letters on my sons 8 letter first name. Please fix.
Has potential...
Needs improvement, my daughter likes to see her name. She has a hard time tracing it, the letters are small. The app allows you to draw all over the place. The app needs structure and better execution! Email the app designer with ideas, they usually respond to emails.
Lower y not working
Cannot trace tail of lower y to the end of it. Please fix. Great app besides this.
Poor
Very poor. Letters to small to use your finger even for a 3 year old. Doesn't seem to recognise when the word has been traced.
Not good for toddlers
I bought this app to teach my kid how to write and it is not helping. The letters are too small and you cannot zoom in to make them bigger so that she can see the dots to trace. The arrows confuse her and are really not necessary. She gets bored and frustrated very quickly and wants to quit. There are no colors besides green. The maker of this app probably has no kids. Don't waste your time.

Waste of money
Its useless!
Ok app
Letters should be a little bigger. If a child is learning to write their name, odds are they are learning to write. Other than that I think this app is a great concept in much need of some improvements. I would also like if app had an assistance option to learn right way to write a letter.
Too small
Bought for my preschool aged son, the letters are way to small, for a new writer.
Needs improvements.
Writing too small for children, needs to be clearer. Would not recommend for pre school children.
Great! Please read this Jonathan Mulcahy!
I'm very happy with this new app specially because it uses the D'Nealian handwriting which is used on my kids school. It's simple and stylish! Thank you!
I would like to see a minor improvement for writing the letter i, you can't place a dot, it has to be a little line for it to appear.
As an add on it would be nice to be able to use an eraser, instead of x-out the whole word. It would also be nice and practical, if you could practice the five names/words at the same time, instead of opening them separately every time. It's time consuming to have to wait for it to load every separate word, and kids get easily distracted at that time.
Overall I'm very pleased with this app, and I hope the creator Jonathan Mulcahy will look into the things I just mentioned, because I truly believe it could be even a better app! And that would make lots of parents of lower grade elementary kids very happy, I believe! Plus now a days there are more and more schools that use iPads in the classroom, and they might even like to use it too!
Thank you so much!!

Finally!
Finally an app that my preschooler can use to trace and learn his OWN name! We love this. My first grader is using it to study her weekly spelling words too! Well done!
