Best tool for learning music parts
The low rating for this app is criminally unjust. I just read the most recent 2 stars review and the child who left it admits to having no working knowledge of audio files and downloaded this app to work with videos, which is completely not what this app is intended for. If you’re a musician that needs a free app to slow down parts of the song to learn, this is by far the best app I’ve used. The speed feature does not alter the pitch of the song and can go so slow to the point that’s incomprehensible (like even negative speed lol at which point I thought you’d be playing it forward 🤣). Ive recommended this to m guitar students!
Dev: if you are still maintaining this app, thank you very much for this wonderful tool. Also one other suggestion for improvement is add is the ability to zoom in and out on the audio time line. When you need to learn just a small section of a super complex song, it’s quite hard to set the AB section precisely when the timeline is too zoomed out. Thanks once again for this amazing tool. Cheers! Hope this will boost the apps rating!

Terrible
App crashes every time I try to open a music file in it.
ear rape volume
its the only free app that i found that lets u slow down, and change the pitch of music, as well as letting you play the song on loop. the only thing is, the volume has got to be fixed on this. i have to play songs on one or two notches of volume or the audio will destroy my ears. cool app tho :D
Crashes
It crashes as soon as I tap on a song from Apple Music
Earrape + other glitches
Everything about the app is super good... It took me a little to figure out how to get files on there since it doesnt accept videos, but it was easy to use and i was able to get the files in my files app.
The main problem is the glitches. I use this app mainly to edit music and then export it to flipaclip through the files app (iphone). Whats weird is that when i listen to the audio in files, it sounds normal and exactly like how i tuned it. When i put it on flipaclip, however, it starts fading in and out, weird glitchy loud noises, etc. starts happening.
I tried other things too, such as screen recording it or converting it to mp3 / wav and screen recording it there. When I do that, however, it bass boots the audio by a ton and it ends up being really scary.
The app itself and all the features work well, its just the file transport to other things that messes it all up.
(Sorry if the review is unprofessional, I’m really young and have almost no experience with audio files etc, hope it helps (:
