Day old blood doesn’t locate
Response from developer
Thank you for taking the time to test Track Trail Hunting & Calls and provide this valuable feedback. You've identified an important limitation we're actively working to improve. You're absolutely right - the current blood detection algorithm is optimized for fresh blood and struggles with oxidized (day-old) blood, which appears darker and more brownish. Here's what's happening: Current Challenge: - Fresh blood: bright red with higher color saturation - Oxidized blood: darker, brown-tinted, lower saturation - Our HSV-based filter currently prioritizes bright reds What We're Doing: We're developing an enhanced detection mode specifically for aged blood trails that will: 1. Expand the hue range to include brown/rust tones 2. Add a "Blood Age" slider (Fresh/Recent/Old) 3. Improve contrast algorithms for darker spots 4. Reduce false positives on other red objects Temporary Workaround: In Settings → Blood Detection, try: - Increase "Min Brightness" to 0.15-0.20 - Decrease "Min Saturation" to 0.25-0.30 - Enable "Deep Contrast" mode - Use your device's flashlight for better results This update is planned for our next release. Your real-world testing is exactly what helps us improve the app for all hunters. Would you be willing to test the beta when it's ready? We'd love your input. Thanks again for the honest feedback!

I’m really sorry to hear that you didn’t have a good experience with the app. Your feedback is important, and I’d love to understand what exactly you didn’t like so I can fix the issue for you. Could you please tell me: What part of the app didn’t work as expected? Did you face any errors or bugs? What features were missing or disappointing? What were you expecting the app to do? Once I know the details, I’ll work on improving it right away. Thank you for giving me a chance to make the app better.
