Great App for Night School

I have been using this app for several years now and I can’t say enough about how useful and user friendly it is. I teach apprentice electricians and construction trainees in general. I provide these education services as a contractor and am certified nationwide with apprentice training. Year to year I may be at one or another facility - this app is perfect for keeping track of grading, attendance and sometimes behavior (the latter not much of a problem with night school adult learners). I mostly use my laptop in class, but at any time can record data or provide information from my phone. The few times I needed help the replies are quick and accurate. This app is perfect for my use and I recommend it highly.

Was working.

Now I’ve been logged off, and can’t reset log on or my password. Every time I select “forgot password,” it says “bad request.”

Too much syncing

Constant syncing of the app causes the class to close and return to the home screen, making the functioning of the app unusable to the user. There needs to be an offline mode, or the app should only sync in the background. Otherwise, the app becomes completely unusable.

Crap

You literally have to enter each bit of student info manually. I have 150 students and only realized after paying for this stupid thing that it doesn’t integrate with any platform doesn’t export data well and would take about four hours to enter all the student data

Response from developer

You can import your student roster via file upload at the TrackCC website. Sign in to trackcc.org using the same login credentials as on the app, navigate to Teachers / My teacher account - and select "Upload school data". You can download a sample file to get the correct column headers for your XLS, XLSX, CSV or tab-limited TXT file. Send us a note at support@trackcc.org if you need help.

Great App - please add to Apple Watch functions

This app seems like it is especially useful for secondary grade levels, but even in first grade it is convenient. I am very excited to get started tracking behaviors. Since students are still learning the basics of writing, it can be hard to collect evidence of understanding regularly without using up trees and ink making worksheets. With this app I customized the grading system so I can quickly record on a scale 1-4 how well students understood a lesson based on oral participation, so I can remember who to circle back with and also create fair and accurate participation grades for the grade book later. I deeply wish that the behavior tracking available on the phone app was also a feature in the apple watch app. I would gladly upgrade to the
pro version to be able to update instantly record a behavior with the time stamp by tapping my watch like I can with attendance, even if I could not record details on the watch app. My school discourages teachers to have phones out but a watch is no problem. It could work exactly the same as the attendance tracker - tap a student’s name once for a positive behavior and a second time to switch it to negative.

Wonderful app, amazing support

We have recently begun using this app to facilitate messaging and attendance. Experienced a bug which was promptly addressed by the developers and I had a test build pushed to me within a few days, working as expected. I am confident this system will become a core part of our strategy moving forward!

Easy to use, powerful features

We’re using this app for our dance studio with 5 instructors. We love the instant sync and the way it keeps parents up to date with instant notifications if a student is tardy or absent.

Nice job on the user interface!

Behavior Tracking

Incredible tool for instant positive reinforcement for my middle school students! The functionality of having my roll and behavior tracking on my cell phone as well as on my desktop is priceless. I give out gold stars every day, and I put in TrackCC. I have only had to give out one “no no star” ;) I download a spreadsheet of the results, and the gold star winner goes to the magic box on Friday!!!

Fantastic app!

We recently started using TrackCC for our elementary school, and we love all the available features, especially attendance & behavior tracking and the school/class calendars. This will be a great tool for remote learning as well!

This is a must for itinerant music teachers!

I travel to Elementary schools and teach Orchestra. This app allows me to not only take attendance but mark if the student has brought their instrument, music, shoulder rest, etc. The developers allow you to customize the behavior labels to suit your needs. In less than 1 minute I can take attendance or mark students without materials. I can show students and parents data with dates with two taps on the iPad. This app is worth the price just for those features. There are more features that also look great that I have yet to explore. Response time from developer is somewhere between great and amazing. Got locked out at 10:45 at night. Before midnight they had me up and running.

Essential class app

This app hits the essentials I need out of a class management app - attendance, grading, and parent access. Website sync is a huge bonus for data entry.

Very useful tool!!

This is a great app but it appears it hasn’t been updated in quite some time, which makes me a bit nervous about its longevity. However- that just means I like it so much that I’m scared to lose it!

One suggestion I’d make is to add in the NGSS standards for K-12, since as a high school science teacher those are my main standards. Otherwise, a very useful tool.

I’ve been using this app for a while now and I would just like to say this is a great app for attendance. It is easy to use and our school loves it.
It’s a awesome free app it doesn’t compare to sims but u are getting what you are paying for.
I am confused why there is no reviews on this but it deserves 5 stars.
Excellent. ❤️🥰😇

Suggestion for improvement

Hi, I think it would be very beneficial if you provided an option for the student to upload a picture of a school excuse for days marked absent or tardy. This way the student and teacher know that the excuse has been received.

Best & 100% free

Tried many other apps, but they have limits if you don’t pay. This app is 100% free and even better than other apps!

Love. This. App!

This app makes it so easy for teachers to not only track student progress academically--aligned to Common Core-- but also, it helps teachers keep track of student progress behaviorally. This all in one app even tracks attendance and grades!! I love this app.

Awesome 👍👌👌👌

It's the best teacher assistant app ever designed.
Real user friendly, with the options such as recording grades, behaviour, attendance, etc.
Highly recommend.

Easy to use teacher tool

Great app for tracking students in my class! Easy to use, customizable, with statistics, export, and notes!

Amazing!

I have just been testing the app to see if this will work for me in the coming years. It does everything! Thank you so much for making this FREE for teachers!

Great features

The kid-friendly "I can" statements and Spanish translations really caught my attention. I'm looking forward to sharing this with my school.
