The update has made it extremely difficult to use.

Slow to upload, doesn’t get great reception, even inside the middle of the California San Joaquin Valley. App isn’t as accurate as the online site to view the vehicles being tracked. Convenient, easy to install, could use something to prevent it from over charging the battery. This would prolong the battery life. I’m sure I will have problems with these. The subscription is over priced paired with the quality of the device. Service should be cheaper given the devices abilities. And we will see how good customer service is I’m sure sooner than later. I’ll report back when this occurs. But, given the product, I’m not expecting much. Hope this is a fair analysis and helps some one some where. Humbly.

Just add the trak4gps to your homepage
The app works, it shows where the tracker is located on the map screen. The device page doesn’t really show anything, it shows where the tracker is located and battery percentage. It doesn’t show any tracking history, if you tap on the map thumbnail, it doesn’t change to full screen or anything. I’d suggest saving your money and just adding the trak4gps webpage to your homepage on your iPhone. That’s what I did and it’s works a lot better.

DO NOT Purchase
Doesnt work at all. Free web app works great but app store app never updates, and support has confirmed it does not work.
Disappointed
The Trak-4 link works way better than this. I purchased based on a couple of good reviews I read. They must not be looking at the same screen. It shows me a map, woo hoo, but it can’t tell me when… I expected a bit more for $3.99… wish I could get my money back….

Hasn’t worked for us at all
We set this up and added our tracker and it hasn’t worked for us one time. Very unreliable and cannot trust it.

Misleading
This app has no official affiliation with the actual Trak-4 product or it’s website according to a gentleman I spoke with on the phone from their company when trying to troubleshoot

I set up the API however when the device stops at a location it does not show the address of said location. It allows me to track the asset in real time, which is great however once it stops and I press the icon nothing happens. I need to jump to the site to see the exact address. Kind of defeats the purpose. For private detectives this is a big deal.

Why pay for this app?
Just got the app for 3.99 and it doesn’t track anything but me on the map. Got to the list and there’s no information about the device. Refund please!!!!! I’ll stick to website

What’s the point of the app? The only thing “settings” page allows you to do is set the API code. No way to make a fence around your tracker for movement alerts. I’d say zero stars if I could.

It doesn’t work with the tracker at all. It will ping your phone though and even that’s off by a long distance.

I find the website works better. It is difficult to get the app to update so I’m always switching between the website and the app to be sure the gos has updated daily.

I use the Trak 4 devices for all of my restaurant’s delivery cars to make sure everything is on time. I used to use the website, but this app makes it SO much easier.
