Stopped Working

Used to love playing this game with friends, but for at least a year or so itโ€™s just stopped working entirely. The UI breaks, you canโ€™t start your turn, things that prevent you from actually playing. Bummer. Used to be such a cozy game to play.

Love this game

Please make a 3rd one.

Great Game

I love this game and I do recommend it if you like to trade Land, building, stocks, car, trailer

All about making money

Typical developer, they take a fun game, and make the next version all about the money with IAP. The first game got 5 stars for being fun, this version gets 2 because of the developer was more concerned with making money than making a fun game.

Fix the bug(s)

Fun game but it crashes just when things start to get interesting. I wouldn't recommend buying this until the bug is fixed. Bugged

Each level costs money

The game itself is five stars. However, the second and third cities cost 20 gold bars each to unlock, and these gold bars are in-app purchases. Some gold bars are provided already and you can win some by beating the level, but it ends up being about a $5 app. Let me pay the money up front and have all levels instead of being suckered in and then paying the money.

Crash making me pay twice

I like the sequel, and I felt like the IAP was reasonable for the extra maps, until a recent crash that reset the table and it is now requiring me to buy the IAP maps all over again. Too bad. I'm done with this game because I can't trust that it won't happen over and over.

Needs an update

As a big fan of the first version, I welcome new cities and a more challenging AI. However, this version feels 1step forward and 2 back. I think an update would be needed to make it a better game:
1. Starting a custom game still brings up tasks like in a campaign. Bonus tasks are ridiculous and unbalanced in favor of the human player and should not be in a custom game.
2. I like that the AI is now buying cards but they buy the wrong ones.
3. There is a glitch on parking spaces - it would say x lost a turn and the graphics will remain on the screen the rest of the game.
4. Factories are very unbalanced, never a reason to build anything else.
5. Casino spaces are completely unnecessary and does not belong in a competitive strategy game. It seems to hurt the AI too much as I never bet.
6. The AI does not build up properties early enough when they should.
7. The air still buy vehicles when they shouldn't (this was one of the worse things in version 1).
8. Is there ever a need for the iap in this game?
9. It is way too easy to buy out an opponent. Another feature that weakens the AI even more.

In the first version, I use a house rule of not buying cards because that makes the game way too easy. But you have made the AI even weaker in this game, which I think a patch can fix.

Stick with Trade Mania 1

I was so excited to see the new version as the original had, in its slightly soothing and compulsive way, been a staple for me. Trade Mania 1 had its limitations - it became far too easy and was rather (comfortingly) repetitive with very little variation in strategy; but something about it was good as I played it all the freaking time.

The new version claims to make the AI more competitive, but I've played 5 games in a row now and have won without stress. The same problems with AI still exist even on the hard setting - not enough aggression, trading, and you retain the old advantage of being able to buy after you've made money for trading. A new feature has been introduced, which is the bidding for auctioned properties - a great idea which should add to the sense of unpredictability, but I've never not won one. So in fact the game got easier.

The variations added are welcome - you can now choose a type of building, with differing outcomes, with each site you own. Ultimately, though, it's hard to see what difference it makes.

The fact that the game has opted for the in-app purchases model is disappointing also. Maybe when you buy units the game gets better and more complex - but I would rather always pay straight up and get the full game.

One positive note, the rather sexist phrasing that made all players 'he' has disappeared.

Nonfunctional

I try to play a campaign, come as far as the loading screen. Every time 35% is reached, the app crashes. Please fix at once!

Hate IAP

Loved the PC version of this game and excited to see on App Store until I realized that have made it pay to play (you need to buy gold to open later levels). I had been prepared to automatically buy the full version of the game. Really hate IAP games and will probably delete. Please just give us a full version we can simply pay to get.

Rip Off

Spent $20 in real money and lost it in less than 2 minutes of game play in the casino. Apparently it costs more gold bars each time you trade them for the cash in the game. Total Rip-Off.

Doesn't load once tutorial has been played

Like TM1 great game awesome new features definite worth the trial run

This is an awesome game

Purchase trade mania HD

Im not quite sure which bits the players asked for has been implemented in this game. Is it the fact you need to buy gold bars to purchase certain cards. I feel this is the same as the original and the original is still the best trade mania game.

I had great hopes for this game but i will carry on playing TM HD

If your a fan of IAP and didn't buy first game then get this one.
If you enjoyed first one and don't like IAP stick with original.

Great sequel, but hate IAP

This is a great sequel and I like it a lot; however, I hate IAP and it seems that you can't unlock the other levels without the IAP. It's going to cost $4.99 to unlock the other levels and then you need to earn gold to use the other advantages.

That being said, you don't need to buy gold to beat the AI. Like the first game, it's pretty weak. There's a huge advantage to buying the -2, -1, +1, +2 spaces cards. You can determine where you land, which essentially will win the game for you.

I like the addition of upgrading properties to a factory, hotel, or restaurant. It's interesting, but the factory is what I like the best.
