Such a brilliant and easy app to use. It’s very helpful to find what you’re looking for and really easy to filter out when looking for a property. Definitely a 5 star app in my opinion.
App is broken
Loads normally, and then once you view one property the app doesn’t go back to the normal view and is unusable, so you have to close it and start again. Useless.
Why was title and build year removed?!
Recent update removed the details to show the title and the build year which is a major issue. Now you have to contact each agent and request info! Why?! Some of the most important details removed. The app works and shows properties but filters are almost non existent. It is not possible to filter by year, title, size etc. Very time consuming to find anything.

Glitchy
Crashes far too often! Not what it used to be. Can’t access the message facility in the Commercial section so sending a message is unusable. In the residential section messages come through overlaying one on top of another which makes them unreadable. One of the most frustrating apps to use.
Frequent Crashes
Trademe used to be a great product for searching real estate and rentals. Now it’s just meh. It crashes every 2-3 minutes using Apple IOS. I can’t display my watch listed properties on a map view, and the map view is regularly missing from search results. The app also needs to bring in more filtering tools. Age of the house, number of garage parks. Plenty of info is collected and available on each property.

Flood maps goneburgers?
Was enjoying the recent re-investment in the property app with a few convenient features being added over the last year, unfortunately the extremely useful flood maps appear to be gone in the most recent versions, really missing these 😢
Annoying
Annoyed me by asking me to login in again, annoyed me by asking for 2FA, then annoyed me with a pop up asking for a rating. So there you go, 1 star.

Love all the recent effort that’s gone into the Trade Me Property app. Big fan!
Watchlists not seen
I can't see my list of watchlisted items whenever I tried adding one after the latest update. But on the home page, the list are still there. Needs a fix on this please. Thank you

Keeps flicking me to the top :( also search function doesn’t work as it always gives prices higher than I set it for. I do love the new icon though. Update 4 dec 2025 why when I click on map from property listing it takes me to Europe!? Annoying. make it go to the address as it should. It is too hard on my medical issues

A nice easy app to use to find what you’re looking for.
This app was better before all the updates
This app has got progressively worse. Look at the most recent reviews. The updates are progressively making things worse.
Here’s the things to fix
1. Everything is .slow to load.
2. If you’re in your watchlist and click to a view a property then return it takes you right back to the beginning of the watchlist instead of keeping your place. This happens in alpha sorting and viewing time sorting. Such a pain in the neck.
3. Viewing videos on landscape takes too many clicks. They should automatically show on full screen and switch to landscape when you rotate the screen instead of having to click multiple times. The YouTube ones you only have to click a couple of times but Bayleys and other embedded videos you have to fiddle around clicking little arrows and expanding the video and rotating it.
4. The app is cluttered. It needs to be SIMPLIFIED. Get rid of all the pop ups and forcing people to select options. Sometimes you want to go direct to typing in an address but you have to select or do away with options first.
