Site photos, and the app now shows its working. PHOTOS OF THE JOB Take or attach up to six photos when you write a job. Mark them up with pins, circles, measuring lines and notes, and type what each one is. The app reads the photos for context and uses your typed labels for the sizes, so what you write is what gets quoted. SEE HOW EVERY QUANTITY WAS WORKED OUT Tap any material and the app shows the sum behind it in plain English. 6 joints x 4 fixings per joint = 24 fixings, divided by 100 per box, plus 10 percent, so 1 box. No guessing where a number came from. A SECOND PAIR OF EYES, AND YOU CAN ACT ON IT Every list is now checked for what is missing, what looks wrong, and what you were never asked. Anything missing comes with a quantity already worked out, so one tap puts it on your order. Safety critical work gets a harder look: flues and chimneys, gas, electrics, structural, fire rating. CHANGE ONE LINE WITHOUT STARTING AGAIN Something not right on a single material? Say what is wrong and only that row changes. Everything else on the quote stays put. EDIT WHAT YOU ASKED FOR Your original job description is saved and editable. Change it, rework the quote, and the prices you have already typed carry across. PRICE IT HOWEVER YOU LIKE Type the price per unit or the total for the line, and the app tells you which figure it wants. Either way it saves to your materials library correctly. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE - Fixed quantities coming out far too high on anything counted loose but bought in boxes, bags, rolls or lengths. - Material rows redesigned so names, prices and buttons stop crowding each other. - Product search now finds things it used to miss. - Jobs are titled with your own reference instead of the first few words of what you typed. - Documents made on one device now open on your others. - Risk assessments are written for the actual job instead of the nearest trade template, and no longer print another trade's hazards. - Labour has its own section on quotes and invoices, and you are warned before issuing one with labour left at zero. - Method statements follow the real spec instead of inventing one. - Plan reader allowance is shown before you use it.
