was actually about to uninstall this app because the last time I used it, the experience wasn't great. Recently I noticed the ratings had improved, so I gave it another shot. Reporting a spam call turned out to be quite seamless, i just had to click the report button on my normal call history & I got proper updates from my jio as well for DND violations. Just wanted to appreciate the improvement, it's nice to see an app actually get better over time

Does what it claims
Haven’t integrated it to the calling up for spam filtering so can’t comment much on that feature. But only using it for placing complains of all spam calls that I receive. After few days or reporting each call diligently, now I am rarely getting any spam calls.

Useless
Don’t know why this app exists. Daily, I am getting no less than 15 phone calls from the same bank for the past 3 months. I have already shared the issue with this app multiple times, and I am still reporting it, but it has been of no use. Even now, I continue to receive calls from the same bank.
Idea calling from private numbers
Idea Internet is calling from private numbers and then refusing to take responsibility If trai has received multiple complaints regarding idea then they should not accept their refusal and take strict action
DND Does Not Work
I usually use TrueCaller but switched to this a few months ago. The DND feature does not work. The whole point of reporting a spam call is that the caller is blocked for me and reported so that the spam services can be stopped for others.
However all the spam call and SMS I reported were sent to the service providers who have the same answer every time that “it is a marketing call and not spam” therefore the calls were not being blocked or filtered. The same spam calls were received multiple times during the day.
I am now switching back to TrueCaller.

Finally Took Control of Spam Calls with the TRAI DND App
Been using the TRAI DND app and it’s genuinely useful for reporting spam calls and unwanted promotional messages. The interface is simple, complaint filing is quick, and it helps users take more control over unsolicited communications.
A good initiative towards making digital communication cleaner and less intrusive. Definitely worth trying if spam calls and SMS are becoming too frequent.

Does Not Work
One way reporting, without any accountability or proof of action taken. Onus is on poor helpless customers to continue reporting spam calls without any consequences for the fraudsters.
Despite enabling the app in phone settings, there is no easy way or one click reporting mechanism. You still have to copy the number, enter date and time, in the App separately to report spam.

TRAI on a roll
In the midst of the TN elections, we have been receiving a lot of spam calls. TRAI has been very supportive in blocking the numbers when notified through their App. The app is so user friendly and has helped a lot in DND support. Thanks to Airtel for their quick confirmations and support. Way to go TRAI!

Functionality must improve
Despite logging in on the app and making required changes to my mobile as required by this app, I still can’t directly block a no: from my call list as I m asked to log in the DND app which I have already done. Pls look into this as every Indian app must b world class n nothing else.
Very Powerful App
New version has menu and config changes which maybe difficult for non tech person yet after restart of phone the block menu started appearing in calling app and I was again able to report tele callers like before.

Not working after new UI change
The app was amazing for reporting spam. After the big UI change, the spam reporting button on Messages app is not showing up even after enabling it in settings. Could you please look into it. Thanks

Use of DND is NOT worthy
I have been using the Do Not Disturb (DND) service and the DNDF complaint mechanism for a considerable period. However, my experience has been largely unsatisfactory and ineffective.
Despite multiple complaints regarding unwanted spam calls and messages, most of my complaints are routinely closed with the remark “CDR not found”. This raises serious concerns about the effectiveness and accountability of the system.
It appears that:
- Complaints are not being properly investigated.
- Telemarketers continue their activities without any strict action.
- The resolution process lacks transparency.
- There is no visible deterrent or penalty being enforced.
As a user, this creates a perception that the complaint mechanism exists only in formality and does not provide real relief. The effort put into raising complaints feels wasted when no meaningful action is taken.
I strongly urge the concerned authorities, including Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, to:
- Improve complaint verification mechanisms
- Ensure strict action against violators
- Provide transparent and accountable resolutions
- Strengthen user trust in the DND system
Unless these improvements are made, the usefulness of DNDF and DND services remains highly questionable.

Why stopped reporting from caller app
It seems like new update has made reporting difficult. Earlier we were able to report directly from recent calls app in 30 sec. Now all details need to be filled manually. Takes 3 minutes.
Not working after the latest update
It was a flawless application to report spam calls. Since the last update I am unable to report the numbers from my phone log, though I have enabled the option from settings. Please fix it ASAP.

This is an excellent platform to report and control DND. The resolution takes some time but overall it does the work well.
