Trailforks used to be a great app even if you used the free version. So much so that everyone started to use it and it was THE option for adding and finding trails. Then they completely gutted the free version of the app and made it unusable. They increased their prices a bunch as well. Seems real shady

Good maps stay up-to-date regularly doesn’t make you fill out a five paragraph essay to track a ride has a really good community behind it

I used to pay for AllTrails but since I am using the app mostly for MTB, I prefer Trailforks

This is indeed my favorite mtb app out there, I've been using it for years. It's great, until you have a problem! Recently my app stopped working and saying "user has been deactivated" when I try to login. I have tried everything to login or reset my account, even tried to set up a new account which gave me a different error. I have reached out multiple times on 3 separate occasions for assistance from customer support. I receive an email with a ticket number indicating that they have received my request and will be in contact soon. I never receive any follow ups. I have reached out multiple times and always receive the confirmation email but never ANY support or solutions. If quality customer service is important to you I would look elsewhere.

Navigation sucks
I wanted an Apple Watch app that had a map function to help navigate new trails. This failed. No turn by turn alerts or instructions during routes. No audible or haptic notifications for upcoming turns or notifications for being off route. Frustrating to say the least!
leider nicht mit Garmin Edge verwendbar
sehr geehrtes Support Team, leider ist die App nur auf Englisch und nicht in Deutsch benutzbar. Ich habe mich mit meinem Apple Account angemeldet. Leider funktioniert das auf dem Edge nicht. Ich kann leider auch nicht finden nicht mal mit der KI wie man sich anmelden kann, dass das funktioniert.

Most accurate useful app I found for mountain biking once you pay the subscription. I do wish the free version didn’t try and sell you on the subscription almost every time you touch the screen but for less than five dollars a month it’s worth it! Opened up the world for me and is useful for finding trails specific to your chosen activities

What have you done?
It keeps asking me to pay for a subscription every time I zoom in to see the MTB trails. Not the best I have to use ride pal now.
Money grab
Okay I am about to straight up delete this app. I made an account, but app is unusable without paying a subscription. Part get shaved away more and mor over time. Now you can’t see elevation profile or even use the search bar.
Useless
This app in pro version is basically useless. If you use on your phone it will cut out when you dont have coverage which is almost every MTB trail. If you try to use it with a bike computer like a garmin edge it wont synch. When you subscribe it constantly asks you to “renew” your subscription and even then it still does not give you the pro features.

hot garbage
forced update, app crashes without letting me see any details, just a bunch of pressure to upgrade to pro. with how it’s functioning currently for me, i’m not going to pay money for something that doesn’t seem to work at all and/or isn’t giving me a real option either way.
Trail map app
Simply put this is a wonderful app for navigating the mountain bike trails around where I live in Watham County Washington
