Trailhome answers the three questions that actually matter out there: Which way is back? Is the weather turning? Will I make it before dark? THE WAY BACK • Records a filtered breadcrumb trail (hiking workout session keeps it running screen-off). • Backtrack arrow walks you crumb-by-crumb to the trailhead — no maps, no downloads, no signal. THE SKY • On-device barometer trend (least-squares over a rolling 3 h window) warns when pressure falls at storm speed. It needs about 45 minutes of samples before it will say anything, and it needs a watch with a barometer. THE CLOCK • Verified NOAA solar math computes sunset for exactly where you stand; your measured pace (a default is used until you have walked far enough to measure one) plus a terrain factor estimate the return; Trailhome taps you at 'leave now'. Everything on-device. No account, no servers, no data collection. Guard sessions are designed to draw battery like a workout session does. Trailhome gives estimates and guidance for well-prepared walkers. It is not a rescue, distress or emergency service and does not replace a map, a compass or your own judgement.
