About

Found a fallen tree, a washed-out switchback, or a sign that's seen better days? TrailsIQ Report lets you flag it on the spot — even when there's no cell signal — and the report goes straight to the people who maintain that trail. Built for the trailhead, not the desk: OFFLINE BY DEFAULT Cell coverage at trailheads is unreliable. TrailsIQ Report queues your submission on your phone the moment you tap Submit, and uploads it as soon as you have signal again. You don't have to keep the app open or remember to retry — close the app and ride home, and your report syncs in the background when you re-connect. PIN-DROP ACCURATE Uses your iPhone's GPS to identify which trail you're standing on and routes the report to the local stewardship organisation that maintains it. No more "I think it was somewhere on the blue trail past the second bridge" — your report carries the exact coordinates of the issue. CAMERA-FIRST Snap a photo of the problem with your phone's camera, or attach photos from your library. A picture saves the trail crew an investigation hike: they can scope the right gear before they head out, instead of carrying a chainsaw to fix a sign. ANONYMOUS BY DEFAULT No account, no email, no signup. Just open the app and start. Add your name optionally if you want — leave it blank otherwise. Your privacy is detailed at app.trailsiq.com/privacy. WHO IT'S FOR Hikers, mountain bikers, trail runners, equestrians, conservation volunteers, scout leaders, ski-area workers, anyone who spends time on managed trail networks and wants to give back something more useful than a Yelp review. WHAT YOU CAN REPORT - Blowdowns and tree clearance - Washouts, slumps, drainage issues - Damaged or missing signage - Vandalism - Trail markers, rerouting, blowouts - Closures and safety hazards - Anything else worth a steward's eyes HOW IT WORKS 1. Tap an issue type 2. Confirm the GPS pin (or drag to refine) 3. Optionally attach a photo 4. Optionally add a description 5. Submit That's it. The report lands in the right organisation's TrailsIQ dashboard. Crew leaders triage it, schedule the work, and log the time when it's done. ABOUT TRAILSIQ TrailsIQ is the platform stewardship organisations use to manage their trail networks. The same anonymous reporting wizard works for every TrailsIQ-affiliated trail in the network — central, regional, and self-hosted — and your phone's location decides which one gets your report. • Deep links: trail-conditions, projects, and maintenance items can now be opened directly from email links or web shortcuts. • Performance and reliability improvements. • Tap-to-dictate: a microphone button now sits in the description field. Speak the issue instead of typing it — speech recognition runs on-device, so your audio never leaves your phone.
