About

Other apps tell you where a trail goes. Traily tells you what it's like up there today. Traily maps millions of miles of hiking, biking and running trails across the country on a real topographic map — contour lines, terrain shading, peaks — with the one thing no other trail app leads with: whether today is actually a good day to go. THE CONDITIONS SCORE Every trail gets a live 0–100 score for the day, built from the forecast where the trail actually is: temperature, rain, snow, wind, and active weather alerts, weighted by the trail's length and difficulty. Open your favorites and see at a glance which of your trails is worth driving to this morning. OFFLINE MAPS Download the map around your trailhead — terrain, trails, peaks, campgrounds — and navigate all day with no signal. GPS, session recording and the stargazing rating never needed a connection in the first place. Offline areas are part of Traily Pro — at $24.99 a year, still a third of what the big trail app charges for the same feature. RECORD YOUR SESSIONS Tap REC and Traily tracks your route, distance, elevation gain, moving time and pace — for hikes, runs, rides and walks. Sessions link automatically to the trail you're on, so your dashboard shows your history and best time on every trail you repeat. REPORTS FROM THE TRAIL Anonymous, ten-second condition reports from people standing on the trail: dry or muddy, snow patches, blowdowns, high water crossings, full parking. Reports attach to the trail you're on (within about 50 feet — GPS honesty is the whole point) and glow on the map for 24 hours. Not on a listed trail? Your report still counts, filed as an unlisted trail. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO - Elevation profile for every trail — total climb, high point, and the shape of the day ahead - Fire and freeze alerts: Red Flag Warnings, heat, storms and flood advisories drawn on the map itself - Mountain peaks with elevations and summaries - Campgrounds, parks and points of interest along your route - A dark-sky stargazing rating that works with zero signal - Rivers and live streamflow, for judging that crossing NO ACCOUNTS. NO ADS. NO TRACKERS. Traily works the moment you open it. Reports and sessions are tied to an anonymous install ID — never a profile, never an email, never sold. TRAILY PRO (optional) The map, the score, reports, session recording and the logbook are free forever. Pro adds offline map areas, unlimited saved trails, unlimited condition alerts (get pinged when a favorite hits Prime, drops below freezing, or picks up fire weather), and unlimited saved sessions — $3.99/month or $24.99/year. Plans auto-renew until cancelled. Trail data from OpenStreetMap, refined by Snoflo. Weather from the National Weather Service. Built by the Snoflo team.
