A bit too complicated
Gems???
Is the only way to advance beyond a certain point to buy gems?????? I understand building these games requires money but if that’s the only way to advance I’m out.

Metagaming at its finest
The game is actually good. Good graphics. Good premise. But it doesn’t let you forget that its designed to make you spend real cash. Power up your locomotives? Only get so far before you need to spend real cash to get the yellow performance parts. All other parts available in game. Empty a product out of your warehouse to make room? Guarantee that the next mission will ask for that product. Need something locally produced? It will stop all production until you spend fuel to send a train to get it. THEN it will produce one, after you don’t need it. As a test, I spent the last day waiting. Nothing produced in any product because it knows I only need a small number of anything to complete a mission. So it won’t produce anything. It’s a good game. Just remember its not random in what it asks. It looks at your inventory. It wants you to spend time and money. One other thing. They’ve added regular runs. Guaranteed income but once assigned, you will NEVER be able to change your mind. Yo7 can replace a train, but it will always DEMAND at least one train from now on. Be warned.

Did everything I could,reinstalled etc. Settings all correct. No sound and this is after successive installs over multiple releasrs

Why is it when I choose to watch an in game ad to get a additional locomotive part, I can never close the ad to get back to the game?
It gets a little tedious
The missions get steadily more intensive, but don’t keep pace with other upgrades. Probably how they get people to buy their absurdly-priced packs that don’t actually help much.
Definitely a solid game though, if you’re not the type who has to win. Let your competitive nature go, and you’ll enjoy this game a lot.
I get it, they need to sucker big spenders into investing. If you have the cash, there are a lot of collectible trains and such to spend your inheritance money on.

Money sink
I payed £15 to remove adverts from this game. Still have to watch 5 every day to complete daily tasks. Terrible.
It’s not what I expected.
It feels like they’ve combined the graphics of 1 with the expectations of 2. Granted they added load and unload times, but an edge to the gameplay? Train Simulator doesn’t even have that, and they’ve been around for years. Unfortunately for me, Train Station 2 was the most appealing out of the 3 versions. But the taking 3 months to get to the next level, just doesn’t feel right.

Not as advertised
I downloaded this based on the ad from another game. It’s ok. It’s slow and you can only do so much in a given time. Definitely not my thing.

I just started playing this game a couple of weeks ago and now the make it hard to get the parts to upgrade your train and when ur out of the mission and can’t level up your stuck and have to spend you real money. It’s a good short game but for the long run mmmmm

Smooth game play for such a graphic intensive app
Ok at first
Started off ok. Progression made sense and was timely. But now I’m stuck at a stand still at year 1938 and I can’t progress any farther until I buy packages for money so I can upgrade the trains. Just another stupid money grab game.

Jetzt da die Drehscheibe funktioniert, wäre es schön wenn das Spiel die Loks nach Beendigung einer Fahrt automatisch bis in den Lokschuppen verfolgen würde bevor man eine neue Fahrt starten kann. Die Verzögerung im Spielfluss würde ich dafür gerne in Kauf nehmen.
Und in den Fabriken beim Auswählen der beiden Materialien für die Herstellung wäre es schön, wenn man beide neben- oder untereinander angezeigt bekäme damit man nicht 6 mal klicken muss um die Produktion zu starten!

Good game but expensive
I really enjoy TrainStation 3. The graphics are great, the train collection and progression system are fun, and there is enough variety in the events and tasks to keep me interested. Unfortunately, the biggest problem is how heavily the game pushes you toward spending real money.
Progress becomes extremely slow unless you are willing to continually purchase premium currency, event items, resources, or other packages. I understand that a free-to-play game needs to make money, and I don’t mind occasionally spending money on a game I enjoy. However, there is a difference between offering optional purchases and making players feel like they have to spend money just to make reasonable progress.

Total Waste Of Time! Forced upgrade or money spend
Don’t waste your time with this bait n switch. Forced money spend to advance is the old way of ripping people off. Better games out there that don’t force you to spend money to upgrade that is required to advance. READ THE REVIEWS FIRTST!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
Great Game
I’ve really been enjoying this game. The graphics, gameplay, and soundtrack are all amazing!
One suggestion would be to add a confirm purchase pop up when using game bucks (just like when spending gems). Or move the purchase and upgrade buttons in different areas of the screen. I accidentally bought an expensive new train when I really wanted to upgrade an old one.
