- A BRAND NEW LOOK: Transcribe AI has been redesigned from the ground up. Home, your notes, the recording screen, Ask AI, export and settings all have a cleaner, calmer design that's easier to read and faster to move around — in both light and dark mode. - RECENTLY DELETED: Deleted a note by mistake? Notes now go to Recently Deleted and stay there for 30 days, along with their audio and chat history. Restore them anytime from Settings, or remove them for good whenever you're ready. - PLAYBACK SPEED AND SKIP CONTROLS: The audio player inside your notes now has playback speed — 1×, 1.5×, 2× and 4× — plus 10-second skip buttons, so you can jump straight to the part you need. - RENAME SPEAKERS: When Speaker Recognition picks out the people in your recording, you can now give them real names. Open a note, tap the 3 dot menu and choose Edit Speakers — the whole transcript updates right away. - CLASSIC IS BACK, AND GENERAL IS NOW AUTO: Classic returns as an AI Template. It keeps your own words and point of view and simply fixes grammar, punctuation and filler words — nothing restructured. We've also renamed the General template to Auto, because that's what it does: it detects what you recorded and structures the note to match. - MORE RELIABLE RECORDING: We've fixed several recording problems you reported. Recordings no longer stop when your screen locks, incoming calls and alarms no longer cut a long take short, and long sessions now end cleanly at the 2-hour limit even while the app is in the background. - SMALL TOUCHES: Finished notes now show the AI Template that shaped them. Exported audio is named after your note. Copying from a note confirms with a toast. Long-press a note or notebook to start selecting. - BUG FIXES: Notification, widget and shortcut taps now open the right screen even when the app was fully closed. Recording on Mac works again. Notebook name conflicts explain exactly what collided and how to fix it. Ask AI recovers properly when a message fails or you're offline, and hands your question back so you can retry with one tap. The audio playback no longer freeze while you scroll.
