Purpose Perfect- Streamlined voice note capture for automatic transcription

This is a great app, especially with the Watch version. Capturing voice notes on the fly, with the app doing automatic transcription afterwards. I can’t install it on my Mac, that would be nice too.

Exactly what I needed

I tested at least 5 different AI note taking apps but only this one fit my workflow perfectly. I record meetings on my Apple Watch, it automatically performs a “flow” which applies a prompt that summarizes the meeting notes exactly how I want and then automatically saves that as a markdown file for Obsidian to use. It’s perfect! I do have one question - I actually do not want the full transcription text at the end of the final markdown file after the flow is applied. Is there a setting to have this deleted in the final output ?

Hi! Thank you for your feedback! You can achieve summary and translation by creating a custom flow tag, and provide a prompt to ask AI to summarize or translate the voice memo. My honest review

It was perfect at transcribing my lectures, but after the last update, it completely ruined everything! It takes forever, and after waiting an eternity, it just repeats a single word endlessly, like 2000 times for one lousy word! This experience is absolutely terrible!

This fits my needs perfectly!

I’m not one to try and figure out the whole “creating shortcuts” thing. Takes way too much time.

This app makes it so much easier and quicker.

Simple and effective with room for some improvements

Five stars because this is a simple and effective tool. I ent head and paid for a year. I do feel like there are some things that would make it better.

- I would love to export the audio to a different directory than the transcribed file.
- I would like to see some template option to define a field with an AI prompt.
- Maybe some integration with some Obsidian tools like Copilot
- Provide some integration with IOS shortcuts.
