Needs to Track While App is Closed

The app is a really cool concept and I find the UI to be very intuitive. That being said, I wish the tracking feature worked when the app was closed. I’m typically using my phone on the train/bus so to be able to still use it while tracking the ride itself would be a good feature.

I like Trains

It would be cool if we could add friends to compete with.

Suburban Support?

I enjoy the app but was curious if expanding to include Pace and Metra is on the radar at all. For me I often take a Pace bus to a form of CTA transit and would be eager to see it implemented especially since it would greatly affect my transit value metric. I understand that adding support for Pace and Metra would be a huge undertaking since it is such a large network but I just wanted to mention it!

Cool concept, needs some refining

Love the concept of this app, but tracking the time of a live ride only works if you have the app open on your phone the entire time. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I want to be able to use other apps on my phone or lock my phone screen while on a ride.

Response from developer

Thanks for the kind words and for using the app, and yes that is something we are currently working on fixing!

Optimizations

You should be able to have saved routes and preferred stops for trips you regularly take, that way you don’t have to manually enter all the info.

How do you protect user’s safety? Isn’t publishing this information a great way for a stalker to triangulate someone’s habits and home?

Response from developer

Thanks for the suggestion we are working on that feature in the next update! As far as user safety we take that very seriously of course. Specific details of a user's transit history and trip details are private and are never available to other users in any scenario. Just general stats like total distance, total rides, ride streaks, etc. are available to be viewed by other users.
