Handy RF Tool
I use Transmission Line Calc frequently to estimate the insertion loss of an RF cable. If I can perform a measurement of the cableβs insertion loss with an RF analyzer, having this app gives me confidence that the measurement was good when the calculated loss and the measured loss are within a dB. The app has a nice selection of coaxial cables to choose.

David, Technical Support Engineer
I use the LineCalc app more often than any other technical app. I have worked in RF communications for over 40 years and I use this app almost daily. Highly recommended for the RF field engineer and amateur radio (ham) operator.
Broken on my iPhone X
Have been trying to use app for first time on iPhone X. Cut constantly crashes after parameters are changed. Very painful...
Great app !
Very handy and useful.
Make better choices in antenna design
Antenna system designs need the insight provided by this tool along with an antenna analyzer. These two tools have made a great improvement in my antenna building & transmission line selections, since choices are not only from recommendations of others. Antenna tuning is satisfying with the easy results provided by this app.

Nice to have
Great little app for educating yourself on transmission lines and their effects. Wish it had a larger cable database, or the ability to add your own cable and characteristics.
Nice app
Would be more useful if we could add our own xmsn line parms or type to the database. Would be handy to be able to enter power in various forms as well as other misc losses/gains. Heck why not through a freespace loss calc as well. One other thing, would be nice to be able to populate all the fields we like without backing out each time with "done"

Extremely useful app
Does exactly as it says on the tin.
Could you add RG223 and U67 please as I use these two every day.
