Really Love This App!

I really love this app. Can you offer a “premium” annual subscription as well like on the App Store? I love all the features which are oh so practical and useful for clear focus. Eventually can you add a search box to the journal section so that I can do a word search on my previous journal entries? Just a thought! Namaste!

A great app to level up with

I wrote down habits that get me closer to my overall goals. This app isn’t as intuitive at first. Holding certain buttons completes the habit for the day. But once you get the hang of it, it really is helpful. I’m a big fan of Captain Sinbad but what Nikhil and his team is doing outside of the Channel is great!

One of my new favorite apps!

Down to earth app that is actually useful, awesome to see all the problems getting patched straight away, and seeing the devs change things based on reviews! Greatness is coming!

Seemed too simple at first..

At first glance, this app doesn’t seem like much. And it really isn’t. But that’s the beauty of it. It’s a simple habit tracker, and (at least in my current situation) an easier and more accessible way to journal than pen and paper. It also gives me that little push to stay on my path.

The only suggestion I have is that the video tab be organized in some meaningful way, but that’s the least useful feature of the app, in my opinion.

[Bug] Like the app but there is a bug

Big fan of Captain Sinbad. I thought I’d try the subscription to keep me motivated to use the app. I keep running into the “it’s time to renew” screen even though I just purchased a monthly subscription. I can tell on my account that the expiration date has changed to next month yet I’m still not able to access the app. I’m willing to give the devs a break but I would appreciate a response and fix as soon as you can or sadly I will have to cancel, thanks! Thanks for creating the app and trying to make a difference Captain Sinbad. I know and expect glitches like this will happen with any new development. Hope to hear from you soon.

Response from developer

Thanks for supporting the channel! We've fixed the subscription bug in the newest version of the app, and we'd be grateful if you gave Transmuted a second chance! You can message us directly at admin@studiosinbad.com if you're still facing any issues.

Glitching

The journal updates keep glitching. I can’t select any of the other options without it resetting to 3 things to be great full for

Committed Developers!

I love how far this App has come They’ve added in the ability to manually enter in your Streak and also a Habit Tracking Feature too! I can definitely see this app becoming the GO TO for self improvement!

Several issues

Issue 1: minor delay. Selecting between gratitude, greatness and general, as well as selecting the field to enable typing, results in a minor delay before being able to type.
Issue 2: unable to increase day count. Unable to increase day count through sword (Sword does not appear in the stone), even though it is a new day. I end up having to manually enter the day count.

Suggestions:
- Option to configure what time a new day is
- Allow user to multi-select reasons for when relapsing, rather than just one.
- Allowing user to edit the reason I relapsed would also be helpful.

Running on an iPhone X.

Greatness May Come

I thoroughly enjoy Captain Sinbad’s content and desire to support him in his ventures. I think the overall concept for Transmuted is a good, and I can see that it has the potential to be great. It is aesthetically pleasing, and I appreciate the gratitude journaling. However, at present I think it is lacking in value. For 4.99 a month there is simply just not that much utility. I hope as the app develops it can become something really special.

I should also add that there is currently a formatting issue with the app on IPhone SE which causes the motivational quote to overlap with ‘Days’.

Major Barrier to entry

14 day trial means you have to pay to use this app.
Make a free version and then make a premium version. Free version will take away the pressure of having to pay in the future.
That way you can atleast build up a community, a larger mailing list and as a result more marketing reach. Learn from other successful apps like “Headspace” or “Duolingo”. Use their business model. “Freemium” is a tried an tested model. It works.
All the best, I will update my rating and review once you make these changes. As of now I don’t even feel like trying the app because I’ve already decided to not pay, so what’s the point in using it just for 14 days?

Response from developer

Based on similar reviews we've decided to make Transmuted free with ads! We've also added the new "Journeys" feature to track multiple goals and habits. You can update your app to begin using Transmuted now for free!

Good potential

Good GUI
Good foundation, should be free

things to add (can be payed version)

Multiple habits
Calendar view of streak
General purpose journal
Fav quotes that motivate you

Not worth the price

As of right now, the app doesn't offer enough uniqueness from other habit tracker apps to get someone to pay 5 dollars a month.

Just a counter in its current state

There potential for developing this into a more complete habit tracker but at the moment this is just a counter which doesn’t really justify the price. Perhaps after adding more well known habit tracking features this can be worth its cost. For example, it would be nice to be able set up morning and evening reminders to check in with the app and update the counter.

Still the beginning, but looking forward!

The app is very good so far. Looking forward to the development of the app as time goes on.

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for supporting the app in its early development! The latest version of the app adds a daily journaling feature, and a day-to-day habit tracker will be coming along in the future!

Off to a good start!

Heard about this through the podcast obviously. Everything looks great so far, but my main issue is that the subscriptions aren’t very clear, I didn’t see them in the app, but it is still early release so hopefully these things will be smoothed out sooner or later.

Response from developer

Thanks for your support and feedback! It really means a lot during the early stages of the app. For subscriptions, the monthly price is now highlighted in the screenshots for clearer visibility, and our goal is to be as transparent as we can with users. A journaling section has also been added with the latest version, and a day-to-day habit tracker is in the works for a future release!
