TransVoice.App: Voice Training

Version 1.3.0 This update is mostly about the practice tools. Long sessions can now be replayed from start to finish, the live charts move more smoothly and use less battery. NEW - "Play all" now replays your entire session, not just the last part of it. Longer recordings are captured in segments while you practise and joined back together for playback. - Drag the pitch history back during a session to look at what you just did, without stopping. - Voting now includes an optional naturalness rating alongside the masculine to feminine scale. It is never required, so you can still vote on gender alone. - Your own submissions show naturalness results next to the gender results, on the same scale. - The community tab and the recording screens show how many submissions you have left today and when the allowance resets. - New course lesson blocks: audio recorder, exhalation timer, free text field, file downloads, and clearer intro, completion and exercise sections. IMPROVED - Pitch, loudness and spectrum are drawn on a fixed time base, so the line moves at a steady speed on every device instead of speeding up or stuttering. - The charts no longer redraw the whole screen for every measurement, which noticeably reduces battery use and heat during longer sessions. - Voting, skipping or reporting a clip no longer reloads the whole queue, so the next clip appears immediately. - The course overview and lesson pages were reworked around the new blocks. FIXED - Quiet passages and syllable boundaries no longer drop out of the line mid sentence. - The position marker no longer flickers or jumps at the start and end of a replay. - The chart no longer shifts position after a replay finishes or when a new segment starts. - Fixed a slowdown that built up from around two minutes into a session. - Audio recorded across a microphone or headset change is no longer lost. - Long recordings no longer produce duplicate or missing segments. - A temporary connection problem or rate limit no longer looks like being signed out.
