All aboard — Traviary 1.1 takes to the sea, and cleans up your skies too. BOATS & FERRIES • Ferry and boat rides are now detected automatically — fully offline, like everything else. Island hops and channel crossings become proper boat legs instead of impossible drives. • Boat legs dock at real harbours, drawn from a new offline database of 58,000 ports, ferry terminals and marinas. • Boat routes and harbour pins on your maps, sea kilometres in every distance breakdown, and a new 8-tier "Distance by Sea" badge — from Maiden Voyage to Circumnavigator. SMARTER TRIPS • Photos taken from the plane no longer count overflown countries as visited. They stay with your trip as camera markers riding the flight path — and you can flag or restore any photo yourself. • Wrong airport on a flight? Tap the airport code and pick the right one — from nearby airports or a full offline search. Your choice is remembered. • Changing a leg's travel mode (flight / drive / boat / walk) now applies instantly. • Stop pins now land where your photos actually are — no more pins floating in the water. • Ending a trip manually now correctly returns you home before the next one starts. • Vatican City is now recognized as its own country — St Peter's no longer counts as Rome. MAPS & GLOBE • See where you are: the country landmark map shows your current position with a locate-me button — handy while out exploring. • Tap anywhere inside a country on the Visited World globe to select it — no more aiming at thin outlines. The globe now runs edge to edge and zooms in closer, too. • A richer country card: flag, visits, days, landmarks and your first-to-last visit span, with a shortcut straight to the country map. PHOTOS • The full-screen photo viewer gains an info card: capture time, place, GPS coordinates, altitude, resolution and more — read entirely on-device. SETTINGS • New Privacy & Permissions screen: every permission the app can ask for, its live status, and a plain-words explanation of why it's needed. As always: everything happens on your device. Your photos never leave your phone.
