Terrible on location and authentication
Suggest a somewhat nearby restaurant that has permanently closed and an open restaurant 10,000 miles away.
I use a very common password manager on my iPhone that works well. But the Tray app doesn’t let the password manager submit both the username and password. It always wants me to type in a password every time I authenticate. In any case, if I go someplace 3 to 4 times a week I would like it to just opt into facial recognition after the first typed authentication.

Needs a lot of work.
Location-based suggestions don’t work correctly. I’m in California, but I’m getting recommendations for Arizona, despite allowing access to location data. There are places near me that use Tray.
The app doesn’t even let you manually choose a location to base its recommendations on, even if you turn location access off. In that case it just centers the map in the ocean just below Africa and adds a fried chicken place in Hyderabad, India to your list of previous suggestions (Arizona, in my case).
Also, there’s currently no way to tell when your order is supposed to be ready after you submit the order. How am I supposed to know when to go pick it up?
Also seemingly no app notifications when the order is actually ready.
Kind of useless.

Great app for placing orders to my favorite restaurants
I love the ease of use and overall experience of this app. Looks great and saves me a ton of time when I’d rather not get up from my table or try to waive down a busy server.
Love that I can also order ahead and get rewarded for repeat visits.

Doesn’t work
Can’t even figure out how to find the restaurant that sent me to this site to use. It just took my personal info and gave me nothing in return. Defunct app? All the reviews are from 3+ years ago.
Wouldn’t work
I couldn’t get an order to go through. It just kept spinning and spinning. Not a slick app at all.
Convenient during peak times
I went out to e's Bar in NYC meeting up with friends whom told me they used the app. And after signing up, was able to order food and drink. The beers showed up faster than standing at the bar waiting to get the bartender's attention during peak times. Super easy to use, good UI.
Haven't tried the social media component to this app (which I thought could be a little creepy) but all in all, a great way to order food during really busy times.

No Amex Allowed -- disclosed after signup
Big waste of time because it doesn't disclose no Amex until after you do all the legwork.
False Advertising
Zero stars. Was promised "$5 off my first drink." Code was redeemed until payment was processed and all discounts disappeared. Waste of time. Don't buy into their lies.
Shame
"$5 off your first drink"! LIES. This company is composed of former used car salesman. lies and a crappy app! DONT download !!!
Super convenient!
I went to Finn McCools with this guy and his food and drinks came so fast I thought he was a vip. Turns out he was just using this app to get everything really easily. The chicken fingers were served extra hot and delicious. I also didn't have to waste time hunting the server down when I wanted to pay and leave. Very impressed with the convenience and efficiency this app provides!

Wish more bars offered this service...
I used this app at Finn McCool's in Santa Monica and my order came out quickly and I saved so much time at a crowded bar. The design could use some improvements, but overall this app worked great.
Solid
It was pretty intuitive. We went to Finn McCool's and ordered a ton of appetizers. It was helpful since the bar was crowded.
This changes everything
Now I can stay with my friends at our table and order without having to leave for the bar or wait for a server.
Horrible
The drinks never came and the time since ordering would bounce around. Pro tip: just walk to the bar.
So Awesome!
Since using this at a variety of bars in Los Angeles I never have to wait at the bar or struggle to flag down some bartender. The best part is one you get your drink you can leave without waiting to close out your tab. It's also has really cool features to send drinks to others.
Dope app!
TRAY is a very interesting app. I was able to find multiple restaurants to choose from and it just made everything so much easier.
Fast, Easy and Convenient!
I'm a fan of doing things from my phone. I always have it, no matter what. With Tray, I can chill and still get everything I need when I'm out on the town.
Extremely useful
Tray saved me so much time when I went out last night.
As a new app, they don't support a lot of locations yet but I have a feeling it will grow fast because it's so cool
