Best way to exchange stuff in NYC. Couldn’t love it more. Very easy to use and has all the features I always wished were on FB Marketplace and other sites.
Great alternative to buy nothing
Was looking for ages for an alternative to buy nothing without facebook. Treasure it does that with a nice benefit of allowing you to pick things up outside of your strict neighborhood if you’re willing to travel and not dealing with facebook mods that can choose to deny/leave your post in approval limbo. Your experience will definitely depend on how many other people use it in your area but it works great in Brooklyn.

It doesn't say address or where the items are located. It also looks like posts are scam. And the reviews are the typical fake of an app.

Genuinely terrible app quality
Most of the reviews here are fake, but in reality the app sucks - think back in like 2010 when iPhones were just becoming a thing and nobody knew how to build an app terrible. It’s slow, buggy and you can’t delete your account because it’ll lag on you every time. Also nobody is using this so it’s a waste of time.

Perfect Local Gifting App
I haven’t been on this app for long but it’s really efficient and such a good way to gift unwanted or no longer needed items without the hassle oof FB marketplace or endless “buy nothing” posts. It so easy to keep track of your items and communicate with neighbors for pickups. Once you choose a recipient it’s very easy to communicate with them and schedule pickup. It’s also a little more safely conscious than having a stranger show up at your home as it lists a local business as a nearby meeting point automatically.

I love this app for creating a safe way to discard of items I no longer need and to rehome them where they’ll be loved! I appreciate that it prioritizes safety and accountability in a way fb marketplace doesn’t. It’s such a great way to create a circular economy in the neighborhood!
