Great app!
Great app. It’s worth the price. I love the map feature. I like that it makes a decision even if it’s unsure because you can always delete the ones you don’t want. I have some suggestions that would make this a 5 star app. I would like a favourites tab. It would also be nice to be able to upload a few photos of the same tree to help with identification such as a leaf, the bark, and the silhouette. I would also like to be able to open the photo after it’s uploaded so I can see it more clearly.

I spent the 20 bucks on the lifetime usage package and it couldn’t identify any of the trees I asked it about, I knew the trees and gave it multiple photos.

This is the first one I tried, and won’t be switching. It gives you an overview of what type of tree is, characteristics, sunlight/watering/soil, and what it can tolerate as a tree.

I just recently found this app and have spent hours identifying trees in my neighborhood and also coming up with a plan for trees that need extra attention. I visited many other apps previously and they weren’t as accurate or required purchases.

Completely misidentified the first time I used it. A beech is nowhere near an ash. The bark is wildly different. Useless.
Wildly Inaccurate
The app cannot identify a tree from a simple photo. My first test resulted in a ID from a different continent. Some kind of step by step is necessary to correctly identify a plant or animal. Like what continent are you on as a good start.
MISIDENTIFIES TREES
I took two pictures of the same tree. It first identified it as Norway Maple, which it is nothing like. And then as a Sycamore. It also identified a tree in the park as a Maple when it clearly has oak leaves! DELETE. NEVER TRUST A.I.
