Terrible UX
Really awful UX.
I should be able to select a stage as current and see all hiking options from that spot. Tough to know how far away I am from accommodations. Compared to other hiking apps like the Camino, this is nearly unusable.

Hiking the West Highland Way
I can’t begin to praise this app enough in getting me through the 96 miles of hiking I just recently completed. Each day my destinations were there for me, including highlights, trail notes and the most important thing of all, how far I had gone and how much further I had to go. I used it multiple times per day. GPS immediately updated my progress each time I opened it. I just can’t praise this enough and the support I received in the beginning as I navigated through learning.

Best West Highland Way app
This is undoubtedly the best app I tried when walking the West Highland Way. Full of useful tips and features. Can be customised for you individual walking plan. Interactive maps and elevation profiles so you can see what’s coming up and ‘get in the zone’. Plus if there are any issues Eugene the Developer is on the end of an email to help you out. Worth double the money!

Very useful!
Lots of good detail about the trail itself. Would like more detail about services along the way, but definitely a good effort.
Response from developer
Thanks for the review and the note about services (which we're definitely working on!). If there were specific categories of services you wanted to see more of, please contact us at feedback@trekopedia.com and let us know (much appreciated!).
Brilliant walking aid
Just completed the West Highland Way with the help of this app. The level of detail and ease of use are exemplary, but the ability to check whereabouts and direction of travel with a glance while offline, especially when the weather closes in, make it a fantastic walking companion. So much easier than wrestling with paper maps (although these should still be carried as backup). Eugene was very responsive to an emailed suggested addition, too. Worth every penny.
