Zum Beispiel wäre es sinnvoll eigene Standorte in der mit einfügen zu können um den planner und die Route vollständig zur Verfügung zu haben. Dinge wie bereits zurückgelegter Weg gehen immer von dem Startpunkt des Camino aus, auch wenn man einen anderen Ort festgelegt hat (Statistik also immer falsch wenn man wo anders gestartet ist). Navigation gibt Kilometer und Zeit an aber diese ist sehr unzuverlässig. Die Preise von Pensionen sind oft falsch. Und letztlich bevor der Text zu lang wird, es fehlen die Standorte der kleinen alternativrouten im Planner:0 insgesamt aber sehr hilfreich in der groben Tagesplanung am Vorabend

Has potential and limitations
While I paid for the app, it seems impossible to download offline maps despite uninstalling/reinstalling etc. which is disappointing. And other apps such as Camino Ninja will serve better for planning, as Wise Pilgrim doesn’t function away from the route, except in a limited play mode. It’s hard to see the benefit of the paid version of this app, sadly.

Was working well until last update.
I can only assume am update happened that removed one of the most useful features. There used to be countdown of distances to Santiago on the towns on the map. Then you could easily scan ahead to determine which towns are in your walking distance with accommodation. Now you have to flip to the list to see distances but this still does not show the countdown distance. The sample images of the app still show this feature but if it’s now gone. Please return this valuable feature.

Route tracking
The app does well showing the path and tracking progress, however the Camino symbol nearly always disappears or loses direction of actual travel. A reboot reorients the symbol, but only temporarily.
Insgesamt gute App mit vielen Funktionen und schöner Handhabung
Gibt viele Apps, aber ich habe diese App sehr gerne genutzt, da sie wie ein Papierreiseführer funktioniert und gelesen werden kann und viele Infos enthält. Der Weg ist super gekennzeichnet in der App, Infos zu Herbergen und Essensmöglichkeiten sind enthalten und Herbergen können per Klick über WhatsApp kontaktiert werden, was super praktisch ist. Teilweise fehlen ein paar Herbergen, das Höhenprofil zeigt nicht den exakten Standort an und die App muss manchmal neu gestartet werden, damit der aktuelle Standort aktualisiert wird. Dennoch sehr hilfreich und übersichtlich, bringt Spaß bei der Planung.
