Tremble Dating

No swiping. No feeds. No chat rooms. Tremble is a proximity dating app. You set what you are looking for, then put your phone away. It runs in the background, using Bluetooth and a coarse location signal, and lets you know when someone compatible is nearby. No user is ever shown on a map. Nobody can look up where you are. Nothing happens unless both people choose it. Waves are one-way until they are mutual. Nobody knows you waved unless they wave back. HOW IT WORKS 1. Build your profile and set what you are looking for. 2. Close the app and go live your life. 3. Tremble tells you when a compatible person is nearby. 4. Wave, or move on. If you both wave, it is a match. FOCUSED SESSIONS Run Mode connects you with runners nearby while a session is active. Event Mode connects you with people at the same event. Gym Mode: after you have been at one of your saved gyms for about ten minutes, Tremble sends you a notification. Tapping it turns Gym Mode on. It never switches itself on, and a session expires on its own after two hours at the latest. PRIVACY IS ARCHITECTURE, NOT A POLICY Proximity is worked out on your device. What reaches our servers is normally a single coarse grid cell of roughly 150 x 100 m, which expires 24 hours after it is written. Nobody can read it: not other users, not us. Exact coordinates are used by one feature only. After two people have matched, each of them can choose to switch on Precision Finding to help them meet. Those coordinates expire after two minutes, and nobody can read them: not us, not your match. Safe Zones: choose places where you are not discoverable. Your zones stay on your phone and are never sent to us. Anonymous Mode: hide from people already in your contacts, and they are hidden from you. The protection is always mutual. Your photos are protected: screenshots and screen recording are blocked wherever another person's photo appears. YOUR RULES Unmatch, block or report anyone at any time. Every uploaded photo is screened before it can appear on a profile. Decline Bluetooth, Notifications or Location, any or all of them, and the app stays fully usable.
